Hello! I have a question.. Our e-cas was updated last nov. 3 to decision made. It was stated there that the visa office will contact us regarding the decision, but so far we did not receive any email from the embassy. Does it happen to all applicants, updated e-cas but no email from them? By the way they invited me to attend the COA last oct 15. Does it mean our application is approved already? Should i email the embassy regarding the dm status? I remember when my husband was approved to sponsor, we got the email the same time our e-cas update.

If i remember it right Ate, January sila first nagsubmit ng application, then binalik ata kasi nga may kulang na document. I think it was the Option C? (not sure) Then July na ulit sila nag resubmit ng complete application.
Cguro the VO is mabait ;D and considered it na kasi nga paexpire na yung medicals nila

Yes ur right, i remember her na binalik yung application..sponsor's approval nya september 2014 then ayun maaga sya nag dm..

Swertehan lang talaga sa humahawak ng papel, kasi dami naman na nag expire ang medical na hindi hinabol ng CEM, instead pinag remedical pa talaga...

Hi Krissy, i dont think you will get an email from them na. After the DM, just wait na lang for your passport with visa to be delivered.
As far as i know, the only instance they will send you an email after DM, is when you're not approved as PR but that is highly unlikely in your case

May 13, 2014 - application received by CPC-M
July 15, 2014 - sponsor approval
Aug 11, 2014 - CEM additional docs request
Aug 20, 2014 - CEM received requested docs
Sept 22, 2014 - in process
Oct 3, 2014 - passport request/submitted, got a call from CEM informing me that they will be issuing my visa soon and that it will expire on January 25, 2015
Nov 3, 2014 - decision made on e-cas but no email from CEM, which i find weird, since the previous updates they sent us email. My biggest concern now is that my 2 yr old son's , a Canadian citizen, exit clearance from the bureau of immigration is expiring on nov 8, 2014. But since no visa, i cant make travel plans. Haaays.. So im wondering if i should email CEM or just wait for their email, kase baka makulitan?

Hi Krissy, i dont think you will get an email from them na. After the DM, just wait na lang for your passport with visa to be delivered.
As far as i know, the only instance they will send you an email after DM, is when you're not approved as PR but that is highly unlikely in your case

And since malapit na expiry ng visa mo (Jan 2015), Im sure they will deliver your passport na in the next few days, wow you will be in Canada sa Christmas with your family! ;D

Would you mind if i will put your timeline dun sa Manila VO spreadsheet? Kasi parang nag iiba na ang trend (IP first bago PPR) and ikaw ata yung unang nag In Process muna bago nag PPR and then na DM na agad after 1 month pagka PPR & para magkabuhay naman ang spreadsheet kasi these past few weeks masyadong kaunti lang ang update

Hi sis! Wow nauna ka na..by the way, wen was ur meds done??
Better get exit clearance sis in advance for ur baby but since wala pang visa i think madali lng naman kunin yun kasi yung friend ko nakuha nya agad eh..

And cem won't email you regarding ur decision made na naka indicate sa ecas,what they meant was that they will inform you regarding decision made its either by mail,email or fax.. wait mo nalang passport mo sis darating cguro yan this week..congrats!

bakit sobrang tagal bumalik ng passport. mali naman ang process nila dapat PPR pag pre approved na. hindi yung hihingin nila passport tas ilang buwan na lumipas d pa nila binabalik.

Does anyone have any idea how long it takes CEM to return a passport after DM? We are outside of the Philippines and CEM has my wife's passport. We got DM on 17 Oct, but have no idea how long passport return usually takes. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Hello everyone Ang hirap ng nararamdaman natin stress, naiinip sa tagal. Lets all pray na lahat tayo magka visa na at makasama ang mahal natin sa buhay. Ako po eh Dec 2013 applicant until now wala pang PPR. But nung Oct. 28 nag email po yung CEM sa amin for additional documents. They said that they received my application here in Manila Jan. 9,2014 . Thank God may tumitingin na rin ng application ko. They give us 30 days for our documents to submit to them. Yung mga nahingan na ng additional documents pano ninyo po senend yung documents po ninyo? Direct po ba sa CEM drop box or by courier? Here po yung timeline ko. Goodluck po sa ating lahat mag pray po tayung lahat na magkaroon na ng resulta ang pinakakahintay natin.

mabuti k p at Least my additionaL documents requested.. un sa hubby q, aun.. waLa update.. november 27, 2013 niLa na-receive, approve aq dec 11, 2013.. after nun, heard nothing anymore.. we emaiLed them for few times, Lagi on queue for further review or is with a visa officer for ongoing review... no PPR din un amin... naiinggit na q dun sa mga 2014 appLicants na may visa na... sana pamasko na sa amin un PPR man Lng..........
