In 2013 there were about 30,000 pinoy allowed in Canada for various reasons. That is about 250 to 300 a month to process. Doesn't make it any easier to wait though. Processing times keep getting longer. So I will be with my wife for Christmas either in Canada or philippines. Right now it is warmer there so as long as I am with her that's all that matters. hi dumas89, agency ko sa cebu lang, I'm Bali Aug. 2013 & CIC got my application sept. 4, 2013 kasi we submitted last week august, open nila sept. kaya I'm in between month of Aug.2013/sept.2013.. ....salamat dumas89.. unfair talaga...sana mp namin mag help..god bless...

Thanks angel! You are a sept. applicant. Based kaseh yan when cic received your application and what is reflected on your ecas. Yes, apparently, it isnt fair talaga. Before my status changes in ecas, the VO already sent an email to my husband's mo that they already made a decision and stated the validity of my visa. They said its ready to be sent. I hope so it wont take long. Pray lng tayong lahat. Hopefully all 2013 applicants makaalis na this year. God bless din.

Hi guys,

Speaking of unfairness, gusto ko lang po sana i-share sa inyo nangyari sa application namin. In which ngayon ko lang nalaman thru my sponsor. By the way under po ako sa live-in caregiver program. Ganito po nangyari, ang sponsor ko po naka receive ng email for PPR na daw po kami. The email was back in May 2014 pa. (Sobrang late ko na nalaman) Upon checking the body of the letter, nagulat ang mom ko (sponsor) na may isang name na lumitaw which she doesn't know. The name was not even a family member, so immediately she replied asking kung sino yung name na napasama sa list? Knowing my mom, masyado siyang mabait. (Nabasa ko kasi yung email niya)

Then, the immigration replied. Ang sabi lang and I quote "Our apologies for the confusion the said name was a misprint to your letter". Sa loob ko, WTF! ganun nalang ba yun? I mean alam ko na tao lang yung gumagawa and prone to possible error. Pero bakit naman po napasama ang name na yun? Kaya nga po merong "Unique Client ID Number" diba? Nakaka frustrate lang po talaga ang nangyayari sa application namin. Btw, 10 YEARS in the making po ang application namin na to. Geez!

Hello ask ko naman sa mga nag PPR na po, naging In-process pa ba ung status nio sa ECAS before mag PPR? Or diretso ng PPR ung status agad? Weird kasi dahil wala pa akong PPR pero nakalagay In-process na.

Hello po. First time ko po mag post dito.
Ito po ang timeline namin:
May 28, 2014 application received
July 28, 2014 decision made for sponsorship application and file transferred to Manila
Medical results have been received
October 28, 2014 "in process" started processing the application of my hubby.

Nakita ko po sa ibang applicants nirerequest muna yung passport bago yung update na in process. Bakit po kaya d pa nirequest passport ng hubby ko? Mga gano pa po kaya katagal ang paghihintay bago mag DM?

Same with my application po, ganyan rin. In process na pero d pa po nirerequest ang passport ng hubby ko. E sa ibang forums nakita ko nirequest muna yung passport before naging in process.

Ang weird nga.. Kelan cia na SA and kelan ung Medical niya? March kasi kame nag pa medical.. Feeling ko hinahabol nila before mag expire ung medical.

Almost same batch po ata tayo. Matagal pa po kaya ang hi hintayin natin? Ano pong hina habol nila? Before mag 1 yr yung medical dapat nandito na sila?

Yung partner ko rin nag in process last oct9 tapos wala pang PPR ang medical nia ay dec2013.. Meron mga case na gaya natin na ang nangyrari tatawagan ng CEM and for visa stamping na, sameday maiuuwi na ang passport with visa.. Pero malaan natin kung kasama tayo sa mapapalad na ganon ang mangyayari.. Sa ngayon pag dasal nalang muna natin..

Hi fellow kababayans, I was told na mag apply ng PR but before that, heres my situation:


Transgender ako at na meet ko ang boyfriend ko online, we have been together for more than 1 year hindi kami pwede pakasal dto sa pinas kc hindi naman pwede. so ang option is PR under conjugal or common law category. Ang problema hindi sya pwede mag stay ng 1 year dto sa pinas kc may trabaho siya so hindi ako pasok sa common law. Conjugal is the best option. Pero dapat daw mag apply ng TRV pag na deny then i have strong case for common law. Tama ba?

Under conjugal ang pwede nio applyan kasi pag common law kelangan nagsama kayo sa iisang bahay for 1year.. Pwede ka mag apply ng TRV at pag na denied ka pwede mo xang isama sa mga proofs nio na ginagawan niyo ng paraan magsama pero hindi nabibigyan ng chance so kaya kayo mag aapply for PR.. Kami ng partner ko ay common law hindi rin kasi kami pwede ikasal sa pinas e..
