Nope, Ecas wont tell you kung narecv na ng cem yung additional docs required, sa tracking lang from courier, dun mo lang makikita kung narcv n nila.

Next step after medical received is in process, eto yung pag nasa ppr stage ka na, tapos pg approved na yung visa mo, decision made na, tapos when you land to canada and you received your pr card, complete na yung last step na nasa ecas mo. :)

thanks for your reply :) i will pray na sana mabilis ang process.

I am very much worried. I am a september 2013 applicant and my application was "in process" last August 19, 2014. I had my retake of medical exam last September 3, and St. Lukes was able to submit it last September 5. Two weeks ago, I received an email from the embassy to attend the Canadian Orientation Abroad at IOM, and I took it last October 15. until now, my ecas has not changed considering that my application is turning 14 months already this november. I wonder what takes my application so long. my wife is a canadian citizen, and if not for her letter to minister Chris Alexander, my application may not have moved forward. And yet other applications are processed so easily in less than 6 months. what's happening to my application?

I don't know and I'm not the only one who have a case like this, my hubby became DM last sept. 2013, I did my remed last Aug. then after a month I became DM, in my ECAS it shows that I am a decision made... I read also some threads that they are still waiting their passport and visa for two months :( . the mp told my hubby wait until 60 days, so sad..
hi...i think you need to call your agency to follow up..medyo matagal na kasi.if your representative is in manila it should be faster..in my case i also have a representative and i got my passport back in two weeks after dm..my agency mailed it to me that day they received my package from cem..is your agency based in manila?

hi Mrs. Anderson, thanks...I filed here in agency cebu, however they have also a big agency in manila...now, I will always call the agency, just now she's dealing with another client so I will call again after 30 minutes, I hope I can get a good reply from the CEM and agency... :(

Bb. If it is Ruth keep bugging until she answers. She has a habit of not calling back

hahhaha, why you knew her name? I don't remember I'm mentioning her name..lol..yes you are right, some agencies are fast, I think manila is faster than other provinces agency, if I only know now these, maybe I went to manila if I knew it before..lol..only god knows..thanks b0red..

Bb we both have the same agent and I have dealt with her many times and have been disappointed a number of times too lol

seems that agency is not really good for recommendation for my friends, I knew some agencies here and cheaper than that agency, the agency seems very slow in CEM, we paid big ...your application file also will turn 1 year next month and ours will turn 14 months next week... but still we've waiting so long.. I don't think or believe the reason because we are not from manila, the courier is only 1 day but why if we processed in manila is quicker than other province? do they have a HOAX? lol...only god knows..

Mermaid....Your saying a lot of confusing info but i have already went through similar situation.....
If you have not yet "applied" for sponsorship it will take you a least 14 months minimum from phils but probably more like 2 years for your wife to come and you will have to fill in all her daughters info on the application whether she is accompanying her or not.
I would suggest to you to just fill it all out once and apply for her come at the same time because you can apply immediately for her daughter but your now filling out the same papers twice, payign fees twice and the process will take another 14-18 months. ... im not sure you where think it will take 4-6 weeks to get PR???
After all your papers are completed and you send them to the CIC it will take 50-60 days for your sponsor application to be approved from Mississauga then it will go to Manila for processing and that is where the time line is looonnggg. My wife also has a 6 year old daughter who's father was on the birth certificate yet has never been around or part of her life. You have to have the "IMM5604 DECLARATION FOR NON ACCOMPANYING PARENT/GUARDIAN" for any person under 18 years of age. If he is on the birth certificate you must have him sign this and it must be notarized with valid photo id (Passport or Drivers License) the CIC will not accept anything else and when you get your tickets to leave Manila the immigration officer will call the phone number and double check that its valid otherwise she will not be allowed to get on the plane.. Trust me because we tried to do it without and in the end we had to have it. The only way around this is if her parents or her actual have legal binding custody, as in she went to court and filed the papers already and went the process of getting him removed from custody. In that case then they can sign the paper.
All i can suggest is to do it all one time, dont do it twice or you will be away for 2 years for sure. Also make sure you have all your papers done correctly, the philippines is one of the longest and hardest places to get PR from.
Good Luck and dont be discouraged!!!

hi Stanly,

ur not alone in this sentiments. There's still a lot of us (2013 Applicants) who feel the same way. I myself is already in process since Sept.23 and had my remed last august 19. Also waiting for DM and much better if cem will grant my visa soon. We do email them, not just once not twice but a lot. The last time my husband email them, they called me. And in all fairness to cem, they responded so quickly on my husband's inquiries. On that day, my application went to In Process. Right now we're just praying that cem will grant all our wishes and that is to be with our spouses and families. But while waiting, let's not forget that we have families too that will be left behind. So im spending my precious time with my family and my kid while im here coz il for surely miss them when i leave. Dont let stress ruin our remaining days here in PH with our families. Happy waiting guys! :)

good evening forum mates,

Need your help please.

Did your Canadian husband sends your marriage certificate included to his papers ? I mean i have our marriage certificate from nso together with my papers , does he also need it on his part ? He is not from Quebec.
Na confused lang kami, and thats the only thing we need to clarify.

Thank you po,
