Hi forum mates! May you please help me. The embassy emailed me yesterday, asking me to retake my medical exam. If I have my medical exam taken this Saturday, how long will it take for St. Lukes global to submit the result to the embassy? And how long will it take for the embassy to process my papers and to grant me visa? I'm a September 2013 applicant. I had PPR last May.

can anyone suggest what to do with my situation please.
My husband already submitted papers to CIC last month.
All my documents including passport is my maiden name.
My question is that is it okay if I will change my passport name to married name while waiting for CIC to process my PR?

Hi sis, foreign ung husband mo sis? If yes, ang alam ko mg attend ka ng GCP earlier if u want to adopt the surname of ur husband. Kelangan mo un if mgrenew ka aside sa marriage certificate. Kasi ngsubmit na kayo ng application nyo.

Hi sis, hope bukas mg update na ung ecas mo and ni Bbvv. Ung PP w/visa ko d pa ri. Nakarating. Hope bukas e surprise na ako ng DHL. Hehe, tinawagan ko kahapon sabi wala pa dw.

Oo nga sis eh antay-antay lang din ako for my ecas to change.. buti ka pa sis pp with visa and copr nalang yung hinihintay mo...

Oo nga sis, kaso d ako makapagsubmit ng resignation letter sa work kapag d pa dumating VISA ko... Hayzzz.. At para makapagbook na rin. Hehe hirap talaga mghintay, wahaha!

I suggest sa IOM ka na lang para mabilis matanggap, naka online kasi sila...

ano yung IOM?paki explain po ehe. baka kasi gnito rin kaharapin ko.dati change of in process to dm lng hnhnty ko.. ngyun pati email ng cic for remed hinhnty ko nrin.. prang dun narin papunta application ko....

Hahaha! Hoping and praying na bago mg expire medical mo they will call u to pick up ur passport sa CEM. good luck po ;D

May nag post kasi dito sa forum around May 2014, Abu Dhabi ang VO nya and pinapacancel yung kanyang Qatar RP upon PPR.

Eh im just wondering, what if PPR na taz may ganung requirement to cancel the RP? 7 days lang ang maximum days na pwede ko istay dito sa Qatar kunsakali after cancellation ng RP...eh di nman pwede umalis ng 7 days notice lang sa company... one month notice talaga para makuha ko yung aking end of service gratuity...hehehe..

Gusto ko lang malaman kung required ba talaga ng VO, or if case to case basis lang.

Pinoy yung applicant na sa abu dhabi ang naging vo?
Usually kasi, kahit nasan pa ang applicant, sa home country ang appointed VO (pls correct me if im wrong), ine endorse sa CEM kapag filipino, even ung mga nasa US na. Kaya umuuwi pa mostly dito sa atin para sa other formalities like interview, or cfo sticker, etc.

Re cancellation sa qatar, ur right,7days lang max stay after cancellation of rp, pero kinacancel ni employer ang rp kapag kumpleto ka na sa clearance, turn over, etc, incl one month notice period.

In case na kailanganin mo magpa repat immediately at hindi ka makakapagserve ng complete notice period, the remaining notice days na hindi mo na-i-serve can be deducted to your last pay.

Pero it shouldnt affect your gratuity pay.

Gratuity Pay is mandatory to be given to employeee who have served the company for one year and above, nasa labor law yan.

Ibang usapan naman kapag hindi mai clear sa immigration ang cancellation dahil sa mga pending admin (or most common case, yung may mga loan sa bank na nasubmit ang name sa immigration kasi blacklisted sa payment).

But dont stress much, i think hindi ka naman I- force ni cic/cem to leave your current job.
Basta ang importante, makapasok ka ng canadian border bago either ang expiration ng medical mo or yung visa validity expiry date.

Hahaha gusto ko sana, pero natatakot rin haha, basta wait wait ko na lng, konting tiis na lng hehe. Or wait ko nlng boss namin dumating next week sana ko sya sabihan.

Hindi mag no-notify ang CEM if passport was received but based on the tracking # mo yun..
