I'm just new here in the forum, and I really find this forum really helpful for us.

Here's my timeline:

May 17, 2014 - Spousal Sponsorship Application sent to CPC Mississauga
May 22, 2014 - Application received by CPC Mississauga
July 22, 2014 - e-CAS update says, "Decision Made" for Sponsorhip, file sent to Manila.
August 01, 2014 - First e-CAS log-in, first time I actually saw it.

Before I check my e-cas last july 31st, I was worried na wala akong natatanggap any written letter from them, i was thinking they might have not received my application or it got lost, so I emailed them about my application, I sent my client I.D / pr i.d no. to track down my status. When I checked, there's still no updated / error on e-cas then I received an email from them about the letter that I got approved as a sponsor and stuff. So i checked e-cas again and then it showed up, it says,

Decision Made

We received your application to sponsor on May 22, 2014.

We sent you a letter on July 22, 2014 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

They already sent me the letter in .pdf format in my email that I got approved as sponsor but I'm still waiting for the real letter coz they said it only got delayed. I feel like napaparanoid lang ako, but is it normal po ba na ganun? 'coz its been like two weeks since I found out it got delayed and it's still not here.

I'm looking forward for your responses and advice po. More power and blessings for this forum and for the people in this forum.

Matagal ko na pong binabasa etong thread at sobrang helpful po sya lalo na sa mga nag aasikaso palang ng dox na tulad ko.

May question po ako, kasi po may problem pa po sa medical ko, pero yung papers ko napadala ko na sa hubby ko, okay lang po ba na i apply na namen yun this month kahet di pa clear yung sa medical?

Thanks MrsMissingThem! ;D nope, hindi po ako Yolanda victim, i live here in iloilo pero hindi inabot ng yolanda ang city proper. 1 year & 11 months after ng kasal namin saka ako ng apply. I have work here kasi and not decided pa that time after kasal na pumunta doon. So i think This is the right time na cguro to be there! Hehe

I heard po yung iloilo is part na kino consider nila na Yolanda victim may applicant po nung January na taga IloIlo hehe approve agad.

I'm not sure if it will cause for refusal.
As long na, ung mga residence address mo, school, work in the past 10 years halos mgkatugma wala ka dapat e worry kahit na ngstop ka. Ung basehan lng doon is if mgkatugma tugma kung saan ka mn in the years.

Welcome po dito sa forum! Congrats you've done the first stage which is sponsorship application.
2nd stage permanent residence application. As of the moment there are some May Applicant already receiving their Passport Request. Mabilis na ung CEM ngayon, so hoping this month you'll receive an email requesting your passport. Be patience lang. Good luck!

C mrsjamie It takes 3-4 months lang ung sa kanya. If yolanda victim meron naindicate sa labas ng envelop na "urgent philippine". Well if CEM consider all Iloilo as yolanda victim, hehe, very thankful kasi napabilang sa swerteng fast processing... ;D

i think expired na yung yolanda victim as of this moment..hahahaha...just joking!! well, i emailed them last June to inform them i was a yolanda vicitm, considering that I already sent my application on March, they replied that they will add my concern to my file but i think they did not consider it anymore, maybe because 7 months had passed since the yolanda disaster.
