I think it helps a lot kung yung lahat ng docs issued ni philippine government eh certified ni dfa (naka red riboon) like:
- Birth certificate
- marriage certificate
- nbi clearance

And true, even if matagal na ang relationship, show it to them thru the supporting docs (communications, pictures, etc) kasi yun ang basis nila to know how solid the relationship is and evaluate our application.

Really po need to authenticated from dfa? Alam ko lahat ng documents n galing sa government office ndi n need iauthenticate kc galing n sya sa legal office sa philippines, tama po? Ska immigrant po ang sponsored not ofw po..

I check my ecas everyday for 36days...
same result again and again,in process like forever.
ngyon di n ko excited mgbukas ng ecas.hehe.
di na muna ko aasa and do my stuff without anticipating anything.

Technically speaking, at ideally, dapat ganun ang logic, kapag galing sa government office, no need for other certifications.

Ang kaso, sa dami ng forgers and other frauds (case specific: recto-made docs na super galing ng pagkakagawa that you wont know the difference between genuine at fake) na nagaganap dito sa ating bansa (sad to admit), our documents are less reliable.

In most cases, not only employers (local and international) are requiring dfa authenticated docs, but also our very own government offices overseas (example: phil embassies will require us to submit a red-ribboned birth certificate at cenomar as part of the requirement bago ikasal sa embassy).

But at the end of the day, it is our prerogative.
The decision is ours.

yung received by manong guard, sa tracking number mo makkita un, hindi sa ECAS. gaano ka naba katagal in process?

Yes sis ndi n kc wala ng kamag anakan sya dun, then bago ako umuwi nag file aq dito sa canada na common law ko sya nung 2013, tas 2014 kinasal kmi. Salamat ha, :* papa upront medical n sya by next week sa st.lukes ermita. Sana walang prob and then problema ko pa kc nag undergo xa ng skin test for ptb last may2013, pero negative nmn daw sya pero for sure my scar p din ung lungs nia db? Anu mgnda gwin? Dalhin nia mga copy ng xrays nia? Actually nag work xa recently sa dole fruits sa makati kya approved xa, meaning to say negative tlga db.

dalhin nya copy ng x rays, if meron syang old and recent medical reports. pag may makitang deperensya sa xray result nya, he will be informed naman kaagad so he can have sputum test. i hope wala na para deretso na submit. goodluck to us sis!

Anyway kala ko kc after ppr mblis n hehe,kya mali xpectation ko.

Hi Guys

My application under spouse category is under process in CIC. When I was in New Zealand, I had been given a speed ticket in 2010 ( exceeded 100km/h posted speed limit ) and I paid it next day. I did not declare it in CIC forms as I thought it's not a criminal offence. Will it make me inadmisssible to Canada?

akala ko sa ecas po yun nakikita. Thank you po! Nung July 30 lang naman ako nagIn Process. Hoping ako na makaalis next month. Hay biglang nagbagal ang CEM.
