Hi Guys. I'll be leaving for Canada on Aug9. Thank you so much sa lahat ng tumulong dito sa pagsagot ng mga questions and just by following your posts, dami kong natutunan and nalaman. Great help indeed. For those who are still waiting for their Visa, things will come to you when you least expect it. There will be times na madodown tayo comparing our application with the others, bakit sila ganito ganyan but everything has a purpose. I was still able to spend 3 birthday celebrations (My mom, sister, and lola) during the months of June and July (July 7 to be exact was the last) before my ECAS changed to In Process on July8. It was a humbling moment also when my sister told me that she already received my Visa last July 17. It took 13months in total. But after a year, just like many of you here will normally say, "finally, the waiting game is over.", yes oh yes. Now, time to treasure the remaining days with my family here in Ph before starting a new chapter with my wife abroad.

God bless us all. Susunod na kayo. Remember, patience is a virtue. Thank you again guys.

Very well said, Congratulations to you and your spouse. God has a plan, indeed. So best to leave our trust in His hands, and not compare so much.
Have a safe flight and enjoy your time with family in PH

hello forum mates. congratulations to all those who received their visa's already and soon will be flying to be with their loved ones. i have a question. if hubby makes an appointment online for CFO Guidance and Counselling seminar, will he be able to get it right away or he has to wait? because they said slots are limited and it's only during tuesdays and fridays. can't he just attend PDOS instead? what are the difference between those two except the one is for PR spouses and the other one is for spouses of Foreign National/Former Filipino Citizen? TIA

Visa on Hand! Thank you, Lord!

Hi Guys, pardon me 'coz I am a newbie in this forum. I have a question, my PR application was received July 19, 2013, one year to be exact. Does ECAS update status on time? 'Coz it 's been a year and my status was still "medical results recieved." But they requested for my passport last May 14, 2014 and required a few additional documents. Passport submitted and received in manila embassy on June 3, 2014. It is already July 19 and still have not heard from them or got the passport back. Does anyone know the usual time for the passport to send it back with Visa on it? Any comments/reply will be greatly apppreciated.

Thanks!

Congratulations!!! :) It inspires me everytime I would see updates like this one.
I got my PPR last July 8, 2014 and still no change in my ECAS status, still medical and application received. Hope I will be next to receive visa :). Am also a January applicant like you :)

Hi guys, i noticed that both rfg028 and itjamcn received their visa a little over two months before their medical would expire. My question is, does the Visa release really depends on the expiry of the applicant's medical test result?

Hope you could enlighten me on this. Thanks and best regards :)

Case to case basis. Sometimes it depends on the VO. Just have faith :)
