Hello Guys. I've been reading this forum for quite a while now. Congratulations to all who already have their ppr and dm's. Little bit of info here for us guys. I know someone working in the immigration business and they said, CIC usually releases visas twice a month, on the 15th and 30th. I cant confirm but hopefully all of us will have ppr's and dm's anytime soon. By the way, July applicant here. I am sponsoring my wife. Goodluck and Godbless us all.

I think you need nbi certificate saying travel abroad. if there is an option of saying travel to Canada then I think it is much better.

Thanks.. Im new here but Ive been following this thread...
Ive been thinking to get a new nbi clearance since it will expire on july. Also, in preparation for ppr although im a november applicant..
It took me a month before they released my PC when i was still preparing my documents for application and they issued me a 'yellow' police clearance... I think the 'green' one is for travelling abroad..(correct me if im wrong)..
I was just thinking which one should i request...

Yes, it's best that you renew your NBI clearance . For security checks, the NBI clearance is the one preferred by CEM according to the guide and in the cic website.

In my case i submitted both the NBI clearance and the local police clearance thinking that it would help for faster security and criminality checks.

:) :) :)
