Based on experience ng mga nag PPR na, how many days does the Embassy give you to send the passport to them? Also, would it be possible to request for an extension say for example if you already have a planned trip abroad? Thanks in advance, I know most of the people here are so knowledgeable about these things :)

They give you 45 days from the date they send the PPR request. You can ask them by going to Case specific inquiry

https://dmp-portal.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/case-cas-eng.aspx?mission=manila.

One you receive your visa- you have four months to leave the Philippines (as it was four months on the expiry date for my wife's visa) (this may vary from applicant to applicant as some have three weeks or even one month to leave the Philippines)

Mine will probably be the longest application so far.

Congratz! Yay for more good news for everyone

Hi everyone...

Congratulations to those who got their visas and positive changes on their ECAS. I never had imagined going through this kind of anxiousness and stress in all my life.

Just for future "use" I have been reading sponsors or applicants talking about sending an email to the MP; I am aware that MP's are members of the parliament- am I correct?

My question is... up to what length in waiting are we allowed to email them, and where do we send the email? Are they helpful in any way?

I am married to a filipino / canadian citizen and previously married. My ex husband died 2012 but we had been separated since 2005. My husband now and I had been together for 6 years. Married for a year. He is sponsoring me and my 3 children from my first marriage.

I am very concerned as this may cause our application delays. Does it matter if you are taking with you dependents under your sponsorship?

Haaayyyy... the waiting in vein kinda sucks big time!
