Dear, PAL - most often gets delayed. My cousin had to wait for 36 hours when he landed hence, all his connecting flights got affected. My husband when he returned to Canada from his vacation last july 2013 was delayed for 18hours and his connecting flights got affected as well. So instead of him just travelling for 1 day, he travelled for two days, he practically had to sleep at an airport to wait for the next available flight for his connecting flight. :-\

I know right, but lahat nmn ng airlines are experiencing delays, i think that is inevitable sa mga airlines. my husband was flying to the philippines more often last 2013 ( i think every 3 month) he took different airlines na. PAL-Cathay-Korean airlines-Air canada, some of them got delays, some or not. so di mo ma avoid and delays.he took PAl when he went here last Oct.2013 parang wala nmn syang problem. a family friend of mine took PAL also last november and wala namang delays. so there are factors, but it is also innevitable. im just saying, direct flight sya, less connceting-less lay overs. ;D

iba-iba sis, some took few months, mine was less than a month. depende sa CEM. pray mo na lng na less than a month din sayo.

As a first time immigrant from the Philippines, I would take Philippine Airlines-- as a balik bayan! I would take Cathay--or Korean Airlines-- as a cheap bastard ( I would take Air Canada or Japan Airlines)
but every single one of them will have delays! (its winter here first of all)

I don't think so.
The panel physician will ask about your medical request form.

if you are being sponsored, yes! but you should have done that before sending you papers to the sponsor because the doctor will give you a form that needs to be attached to your application. i did mine before sending it to my spouse for sponsorship

Very true.. the medical should have been done at the start of the process if you are being sponsored unless you are coming in landed immigrant and applying on your own. If that is the case. you will have to wait until the prompt for CEM to ask for your medical.

Hi mate,
Sa IOM Makati, they accomodate kasi ako nauna akong nagpamedical b4 dumating yung request.
Kasi meron din iba pag nag pafile ng application with medical already kaya i think it's possible.
Nung pmunta ako nag print lang ako ng ecas status ko na application received that time.
Pinakita ko nadin kahit di nila hiningi kasi i think aware na sila na may nag aadvance medical tlg.

not yet, sis...that's just a part of the process. We call that PPR. If u get lucky, they could stamp your visa sooner than usual, but in our case, they requested for my husband's passport in June 2013, and unfortunately it's still with them until this time.

Hi i think hihingian ka ng request form once ppr ka na. Ganun yung case before nung iba dito sa forum na di nisabay yung medical sa application. Anyways, June applicant din ako sana mag ppr na tayo by next week.

hay naku sis wella, di nga namin na maintindihan itong CEM. Wala naman hinihingi na additional requirements aside from re-medical, so we assume ok naman ang lahat ng documents namin. Very unsystematic sila, dapat ayusin muna nila ang ga applications na napailalim na para fair. Nanghihingi na nga kami ng tulong sa MP ko rito para mafollow up. It is very frustrating that they don't even give us updates, and our emails are being ignored
