Hello everyone,
For those who will be migrating here in Ontario, are you planning to buy health insurance to cover you for the three-month waiting period? I wanted to buy for my husband. (For my peace of mind). I would like to get recommendations

tumawag ang dhl sa bahay ng wife ko. excited kami tuloy. haay, turns out it was a package for his sis (some sort of MLM/pyramiding merchandise she's in to). di nila nadeliver kahapon so tumawag to check the address. sux.. false alarm.

Naexperience ko din to kahapon may tumawag sa landline nagmamadali pa akong sagutin yun pala globe telecom lang nakakainis kala ko dhl... Hahaha...

Anyway about dhl giving a call prior to delivery, yung iba tumatawag prior delivery pero yung iba nagugulat na lang kumakatok na sa pinto nila. So with or without call sana tlaga today na ang hinihintay natin. Para bukas cfo na tayo.

When my mom came in April of this year, di ko sya kinuhanan ng health insurance... but for your peace of mind, it's better to buy one.

waiting for visa na lang po ako, its been 2mos na since napass ko ang pp ko sa embassy.. i did my remed na din last oct 24.. sana nga bigay na nila

I'd like to ask about how long it would take for them to return my husband's passport if he was asked to have it sent back within 10 days unlike the normal 45 days I've noticed. It also said that his visa was ready to be issued, and valid until 3/11/2014. Btw, he did his medicals on the 15th of Feb 2013. Thank you ;D

Good am sis, actually bilingual din kmi dito sa Ottawa. Nasa government ako ngayon, so its pretty much required for most high paying jobs to be bilingual, especially if you deal with the public. Fully Bilingual din ako (english at french) Pero you can find a lot of english only jobs dito, but kelangan di ka pumipili. Kung nasa gatineau kna, you can work dito sa Ottawa. marami akong kakilala dun nakatira sa gatineau coz mas mura ang cost of living compared dito sa ottawa.

Pero madali lang magaral ng french. Maraming resources, libre pa even some courses. But it takes time to learn. The government will do its best in helping you learn. Kaso, karamihan sa mga pinoy dito tinatamad mag-aral ng french, even if anjan na lahat na resources na kailangan

good pm. yes sabi din ng hubby ko masmaganda matuto din ako ng french. dito na ko sa gatineau sept. 30 p ako nag land dito. sa ngyon sa enternet ako ng practice ng french. baka january pa ko mag school, nga pla sis ilang months ba bago dumating yung ppr card? until now wala pa ung akin. nauna pa ung medicare card ko.??

good pm, didnt realize ur already here sis, hehehe. Meron akong dalawang friends na kakakuha lang nila ng PR. Both are Anglo Canadians, one married an American and the other girl married a Brazilian. The first girl got hers after 3 months while the other girl in five months, pero meron issue ang address nila so mejo delayed. Im sure your PR card is on its way. Did u enjoy the warm day kanina? Lol, i think it will be warm (approx 7-10 degrees) for the next few days before lalamig ulit
