When you paid it and got the receipt, that means it's already been processed.
Did you submit the receipt with your initial app?
Hi Iay, Can I apply for a visit visa in case my husband gets sick? Will it affect the processing time of our application which was transferred here in Manila I suppose?

I need your advices friends on these because I don't know if it will do us good...

Thanks a lot...

I wanna know what to do in case it could be possible...Help me guys...

Canada's foreign service vows to clear visa backlog

After striking a deal to move to a higher wage scale and end a six-month rotating strike, Canada's foreign service officers are now pledging to turn toward clearing a backlog of visa applications abroad created by the job action.

The contract deal, announced Thursday, came after Treasury Board president Tony Clement had initially pledged to stick to a standard, or “patterned” offer – only to return to the table, after the Public Service Labour Relations Board found that he negotiated in bad faith. Both sides then made concessions to reach a deal.

sana totoo at magawa nila para everybody happy

Hi
I have a question and I am hoping someone will have an answer. We got our PPR and we are waiting for the CEM to issue her Visa to Canada. I am going to accompany my wife from Manila to Toronto, my question is will I be allowed to go in with her, when she go through immigration to process her paper and get her PR? Thank you and God Bless

You can always apply sis. Pero, hindi guaranteed ang approval. Kailangan may mapakita ka sakanilang strong ties mo sa Philippines when you try to get a TRV, ok else you will get easily denied. However, being denied to visit Canada while your PR is in process will not affect the application at all.

8. IDENTITY AND CIVIL STATUS DOCUMENTS
1) For the Philippines
The following original documents are required for you (principal applicant, regardless of age) and for each of your dependent children, if applicable:
•Birth Certificate
•Marriage Certificate
•Death Certificate
•No record of marriage (CENOMAR) or Advisory on marriages

These documents must be issued by the National Statistics Office (NSO) and printed on NSO paper.
If ...a birth, marriage or death occurred in another country and is not registered with NSO, then provide the original certificate issued abroad.

Who among you here got married in other countries as well and did not register their marriage at the NSO? Were you asked to submit an NSO Advisory on Marriages?

most of us here are waiting for our PR visa. i myself am waiting for my PR visa. If you're going to ask me, matagal.lol. esp with the strike (which is finally over now) it's been 9 months and counting for me. 14 months is the standard processing for complete package.but it can be longer or shorter than that it depends on your case, completeness of your app, and most especially your VO.

Matagal po pala talaga... My husband hired a consultant, hopefully Wala ng kulang sa docs namin. Anyway, sana dumating na po visa ninyo matagal na nghihintay. It's really hard to wait, tapos dinagdagan pa ng strike, it's good that it was already over. God bless po sa inyong lahat. Dito nalang din ako makikibalita, I'm glad I found this forum.
