Hello.. we have almost the same medical expiration date, mine is nov 13. Btw, i just emailed them kanina regarding my meds expiration, im just wondering when will they respond to my email.. Nagreply ba agad sila sau nung nag email ka?

Hi Thrineann! Yup, they have replied the next day. In addition, they informed me also that my file is currently queued for review.

Sana tayo na sumunod na magkavisa. Sobrang nakakabaliw ng maghintay.

Good News!! MY HUSBAND GOT HIS VISA!!

CEM called him a few mins ago, that they sent his passport yesterday!! WoooHooo... no more waiting!!!

Now we are just waiting for his passport to arrive! and now it's time to book a ticket!! SOOOO HAPPY!!!

so this is what happened.

my husband received a phone call from a lady at CEM. she gave him a mini interview, asking questions about himself, our daughter and myself, asked him about important dates (wedding, birthdays), ect. then she asked him if he can be in canada before oct 19. he said yes then, asked why? she said because his medical is expiring and he must leave before the expiry date. if he doesnt leave before that date he must do a re-med before he enters canada. then she mentions to him that his application is being "rushed" due to the medical expiry date. and they are working hard to make sure people wont need to do a re-med. then she tells him, they sent his passport yesterday and will receive it in 3 to 4 days.

yehey! bought a ticket already oct 17!! $575 CDN one way ticket, PAL, 12 hour flight, Manila to Vancouver. then he will be here! - i wanted it to be sooner, but he said he needs to make sure who will be taking care of the house, car, animals, ect. before he transition his way to canada!! hehehe....

@everyone ask ko lang kung talagang sa meds expiry naka base ang pag priority ng process meron pa bang oct. mag expire ang meds? wala lang just to gauge kung tama ang expiry of meds as indication ...

once again thanks everyone im happy to share my app experience with you guys., cause i know how all of you feel, just waiting and waiting...

@ tangandtin: yes i sent a letter about 2 weeks ago to manil.immigration @ international.gc.ca , using my husband's email. i mentioned that his meds expiring, they sent me this:

Dear Mr,
Your file is currently queued for review by the Visa Officer. You will be advised of the additional processing requirements accordingly.
We trust this information is of assistance.

^they told me nothing about his medical. so that same day i ordered the ATIP notes, which i still haven't received (i don't think ill be needing those notes anymore. hehe). i was just like everyone else wondering if he needed to go thru another re-meds.

@ tagnum: congrats on the landing...

hopefully i addressed everyone in the forum


(eCAS still says "Application Recieved") the woman said they sent his passport Sept 24 Philippine Time - so it's been two days, and they still haven't updated the eCas status

haha..., oo nga napag iwanan na, mali kc ako, last May13 kc remedical ko, di ko naisabay dependents ko kaya wait wait lng din ako.. ;D

ah ako last April 4 2013 nag kappr then my nka attached na na form for re medical kz nagexpired medical ko nung January 2013,ngpamedical ng April 8 then diretso sa CEM dropbox sa dami ng hiningi nila sakin na additional documents pati mga chat namin na pinaprint ko pati daw ung RPRF photocopy ng reciept hiningi nila..then June 29 ng follow up c hubby ko sa Cem tru email then ngreply cla n currently queued for review pa daw noong July 3,then madalas kami mag follow up ni hubby ko kaso ndi nagrereply puro ung computer generated msg nila last Sept 10 nag email ako sabi ko follow ko lang kung narecieved na ba nila ung last documents na hiningi nila sakin noong May 29, then sumagot cla Sept 18 ang sabi wait daw nila ung photocopy ng RPRF ko na hiningi p nila nung April 4 na ppr ako at kailngan daw ipasa ASAP .Naipasa ko na un ei bka na namisplaced nila haisssst naipadala ko na noong Sept 19 ngbayad ulit c hubby ko 490 cad po b un?so bale 2 beses cia ngbayad ipinadala ko pareho ung reciept..Sana my balita na nextweek at sa mga katulad kong naghihintay sana matapos na lahat...\
