Tnx for the reply!! We are actually in the stage of waiting for the visa (PPR was on June 20, 2013, then another email on July 26, 2013 for a NBI Police certificate request) all of which were forwarded to CEM via courier. Yesterday when I did the usual application status check online I've noticed that the page was just blank! Does this ever happen to any of your forum followers? If so, what does it mean? Could they possibly be updating our status application online? More insights please.....tnx! And BTW I was able to read some of jarry96's posts. It was helpful too, tnx again and kind regards!

well im quessing your about 20 days behind us we received request for nbi on july7,,,,and also a remedical,,,,,if you don't need the remedical you should have your visa within a week

since your a newbie ,,,see that little word (good) on my id,,,,,press it once lol,,,,,,,,,,I expect to be +42 after a few minutes ill put a good word in for you upstairs in the mail room so you can receive your visa faster ;D ;D ;D ;D

If that's the case, we'll probably just wait and see what'll happen. Yes I've sponsored my same sex partner under that category, I know it's a case-to-case basis but my wife and I are hoping for a non-remed, expectations were so high at this point but it's a waiting game indeed! Tnx for the feedback, kind regards.....

Cris same ang email nila sayo sa email din nila saken akala ng cem d pa ako nag comply sa remed request nila yun pla na mis place lng nila med result ko pati sa isang dependent ko buti nlang naayos dahil sa help ng MP..kainis lng cem careless ...kakadismaya lahat nlang ng delays...malapit kna din basta marecib na ng cem ang medical ng dependents mo cguro mga 1 month visa na basta wlang maging problema sa medical..Good luck sayo..

Just got back home. kanina 9.30am kmi dumating s st lukes global as in walang ngpapamedical, hehe, after an hour tapos na lahat then waited for 30mins s result ng urinalysis nila and results were normal, after that lakwatsa na. tambak n cguro trabaho ng cem kya gnyan sila. drating din passports ntin dont u worry, be positive nga daw.., God bless!

I'm just wondering, is CEM particular with NBI expiration? I mean, is NBI validity also a factor in their release of visa? Just like in medical, do they prioritize those whose NBI clearances are expiring soon?

Hello there again Mechie, can I just ask if CEM were the ones who requested for the re-med? I was just wondering for I know my wife's medical has expired last month, do we have to remind them about this thru an email or do we just wait?

Yes Cem will send you an email together with the remedical form. You'll have to print that one out because you'll have to bring it to the DMP. You can check the CIC website and you'll see the panel of accredited physicians. Yes you can send an email to the embassy to remind them that your wife's medical is already expired. That's what I did, I emailed them and after 2 days they responded with the remedical request of my dependants. Actually if you are elligible for that category, and I'm sure you are, they will ask your wife to redo her medical. Good luck and God bless.

they never asked me for a new NBI clearance prior to releasing my visa..mine expired january of this year..but i got one from the NBI just in case they would ask :]
