Hi. Question po. Yung mga letters and cards, need pa bang i-translate yun sa English or okay lang if Tagalog yun. And pano din po pala yung mga text messages, okay lang kaya na icopy and paste sa MS Word then pprint? Pano ko macecertify na totoo yung mga text messages?

And all these documents should be original copy, right?

im completely frustrated with cic/cem. i send my husbands app in oct 2012 to cic, it took them 5 months (march 2013), to send the app to manila. another 5 months (aug 2013) to send my husband's passport plus additional papers. and im still waiting here 11 months plus somewhat days and counting... and still nothing. im happy to see that everyone are getting their sa/ppr/dm/visa, and congratulations to you and your family. but why is my app taking way longer than other apps? why are people who have submitted their papers months after me already getting their visa (based on the spreadsheets/these forums).

i have a friend who submitted a form for her husband in feb 2013, and he landed here about a few weeks ago, it took them less than 6 months. (she is not in the forum). she had to resubmit additional doc. 3 times, (i only submitted add doc twice). but basically the same stuff i did in the process, but yet her papers were processed 4months after mine. it seems like my file is missing or something. and is really frustrating that they can see that my daughter has waiting for the last 11 months for her father to arrive.

is there anyone who is having way too long delays on their loved one's visa? (i know there is a strike, but there are people who are getting their app processed slowly - but how i see it, faster than mine). is there anyone that i can address my concerns to at cem? sorry, i know it's a waiting game, but it just seems to be unfair to people who have been waiting longer than others.

hindi po kayo nag-iisa ako nga po sept pa hanggang ngayon wala pa PPR at wala paramdam sa cem.

Thank you. Pede naman siguro po na yung mga text ko na lang sa kanya yung may Iloveyou, bihira lang kasi mag iloveyou sa akin ang asawa ko eh. Hehehe.

At another question, may baby na po kasi before pa kami ikasal. Na-declare naman nya yung baby namin nung time na nag-apply sya ng PR sa Canada pero di nya po kasi ako dineclare na common-law partner kasi di naman kami nagsama. Sa bahay po kasi ng parents kami tumira ng baby ko while he stayed sa bahay nila. Magkaka-issue po kaya yun? Natatakot kasi ako na baka tanungin ng Immigration na bakit di ako na-declare na common-law partner eh.

that's sad. did u try asking for your MP's intervention?

@bray28 - omg, sept. it's been a year for u. at least im not alone. but its really frustrating. they should have a better system and process apps that are as long as ours.

@cranberries - no i haven't asked my mp. im giving it til sept 19.2013. that's 45 days since i received that letter asking my husband to send his passport. (the letter i received from cem: At the end of this document is a request for additional documentation required within 45 days) if still nothing then, i will probably schedule an appointment to see my mp.

i guess it says that the average processing times for philippines manila is 14 months. so 3 more months for me to go?! it's just unfair for people to wait this long. when other apps take half the time ive and other people been waiting.
