tabbru said:Your husband can get away with it kung ide-deny niya na alam niya na hindi ka pa annulled. Kasi nga nagpakasal kayo, may CENOMAR. In good faith kaya nagdeclare siya ng change in civil status right after you got married.
I asked a lawyer friend (not an immigration lawyer though) and she said na malabo ang chances na makapag-Canada ka at this point. You cannot fool the dates, and embassies are very particular with consistencies in dates. Tama, you cannot fool the Canadian government eh. Lalabas at lalabas din ang totoo.
If you are afraid na mapauwi ang husband mo, then you would have to sacrifice. Parang ganun. Your child can still be sponsored, pero ikaw medyo malabo. Again, my fraudulent activity kasi na involved. Canada is very much against fraud. Ganun sila kahigpit. I personally know somebody who has been denied a visa (US nga lang) kasi may inconsistency sa date ng marriage contract nila at dun sa date sa wedding picture (may date kasi na nakalagay sa backdrop nung couple's table). Ayun, denied. They explained in letter pero wala ring nangyari. And to think parehas talaga silang single at genuine couple ha.
Of course ang wish ninyo ay magkasama kayo. That's the ideal. Pero mistakes have been committed eh. Wala ng magagawa. Hindi na mababawi ang naunang declaration. Lawyers may give you false hopes, pera nga kasi yan eh. Although it helps to seek a legal advise pa rin.
Siguro pwede din that your husband will divorce you para malinis yung application nya sa citizenship. While waiting for the decision sa divorce, pa annul mo na rin yung unang kasal mo.
