you only need to provide police clearance if you stayed in other countries for 6 mos or more

I stayed in Dubai for 2 years and just came back lang here sa laguna last may 2013 but my poice clearance expired kasi sabi ng husband ko kumuha agad. Sayang nga eh kasi ang mahal pa naman ng bayad

No need na ba ang police clearance here in the philippines kung may nbi na ako?

Also, sa pagkuha ko ng nbi need ko ba na ichange na din yung surname ko to married name?

hi,maeexpire n b passport mo?,if not,wag kawmuna mgchange ng name.thats what my husband and one man in the forum advised me.kc,para mas madali pgbackground check nla sau.well,kung ngawa mo na,include mo s package ung old passport mo.then,in an extra sheet,explain when,how and what documents you changed.second,ung marriage crt nio,it must be an original copy from nso. Also,good point cguro write a timeline of your relationship.

Yung passport ko will expire next year june 2014 pa. Paano ginawa mo nampag aayos sis? You have a point kasi yung police clearance ko sa dubai is using may old surname kasi single pa ako that time. Ilang pcs ang nirequest mo for your marriage cert sis?

hi fattykat.... in my opinion, take ur medical once you're ready to submit your appli and docs to your husband, coz it might expire and the embassy will ask you to re-do it, which will take you additional months of waiting. uhmmm, yun scheduling naman ay one week before you take it. may list of accredited clinics, so it doesnt have to be in st lukes (coz mdame plage tao dun).
and you need 9pcs photos (check mo yun specifications sa guide). goodluck.

Hello fattykat06... in my case nagparenew ako ng passport ko since 3-4months na lang mageexpire na sya then sinabay ko na yung change status and surname ko para isahang lakaran na lang. Tama required talaga sa CFO ang MC authenticated by CFO medyo matagal nga yan pero kasi ako after wedding inasikaso ko agad yan since magrerenew nga ako ng passport.
b. yun Advisory on Marriage yan yung cenomar din pero since kasal na kayo pagkumuha ka ulit advisory on marriage na ang tawag at maaappear na dun yung married name mo
c. di na ako nagpasa pero ask mo din yung iba
d. sabihin mo sa purpose mo na for Canada yung kukunin mong NBI, advise ko lang mas ok na kumuha nito paghalos tapos ka na magfill up ng forms para di ka magworry dahil 1yr validity lang 'to

Naka attend ka na ba ng guidance counseling sa CFO? Tuesday and friday lang ang schedule nila, first come first serve pa. Kaya dapat maaga pala ako pag umattend non.

Ako din galing dubai and got a police clearance before i left there for good. na send ko din sia sa CIC with other documents they need bago mag expire. now since expire na sia dahil 3 months lang ata validity nun worried kami baka need nanaman nila ako pakuwain. pero until now wala sila request sakin police clearance

Oo sis magiiba na yung expiration ng passport mo, saan ka ba kinasal? ako kasi sa manila kaya finollowup ko agad kung natransfer na ba nila sa NSI Main yung MC namin tapos yun may binigay sakin ang manila city hall kung san ako dapat pumunta sa main then may finile kami duon kung ilang copy ang need namin then pinabalik kami after ilang days para pag release pero before a month nakakuha na din ako. Yap nakapagseminar na ako 1st na punta ko nga naabutan ako ng cut off kaya inagahan ko pagpunta ko nung 2nd time ko... Sis i think kailangan mo talaga muna yung MC kasi sa lahat ng aasikasuhin mo lalo na sa change ng status mo yan ang unang hahanapin sayo...

e. police clearance from dubai - now ko pa lang check if how many weeks bago nila ma-isend yung police clearance kasi di ko na magagamit yung na expire na..

kuha ka ng upfront medical if ready to submit na yung application nyo. para di lalakaran ng waiting period medicals mo at di abutan ng expiration.
