Good way to start August! I got my PPR today! Thank you Lord!
They requested for AOM (Advisory on Marriage) good thing I have that on hand. They didn't request for booking ticket though.
Here's my timeline:
2013
Feb 8 - Application sent
Feb 26 - AOR
Mar 12 - SA
Aug 1 - PPR

Wag tayo magworry masyado sa strike guys. Looks like the CEM people are still working naman. I pray for all of us to get through the ordeal of waiting to be reunited with our loved ones. Have a wonderful day!

Papapasa ko na bukas sa husband ko. Anu kayang advisable idrop na lang o icourier? Iniisip ko i-courier para may tracking number. Ikaw kelan mo ipapasa?

I read somehere that family affiliation is actually being handled by PSAC members and not PAFSO. This might explain why some applicants still get PPR and Visa amidst the work stoppage. I checked PSAC's site and I think this is true.

I hope to get PPR tomorrow. Please Lord

If you read that website you will see PSAC does not represent foreign service workers. So while PSAC may have something to do with CIC (as they are in Canada), they would have very little or nothing to do with CEM (which is not in Canada).

I would assume that PSAC workers handle stage 1 processing. And as we know, that has not been affected by the strike. It is the embassies that are affected.

Also, while some PSAC members are sent on foreign assignments from time to time, this http://www.psac-afpc.com/news/2013/bargaining/20130730-e.shtml makes it very clear they won't be taking over for PAFSO workers.

Good morning guys, my family and i had medical last monday JULY 9, and based on lbc tracking online, my RPRF
payment was delivered and received by CEM yesterday. My question is, Do i need to email CEM to notify them, that we're than on the requirements that they requested to us. God bless you all. And happy friday.

I just tracked today to Canada Post our application package and it says there "item successfully delivered August 1 to Mississauga!" How many days will the CPC-M inform the applicant that they receive the application package?
