Hello everyone! I don't if anyone from here has an idea about this pero is there a length of stay for PR in Canada before they can sponsor their spouse? Or pwedeng isponsor yung spouse right away pagka-land pa lang ng PR? Thank you.

hi po. in my opinion, hndi basis yun length of stay as PR in canada. ang basis nila sa tingin kopo ay kun currently employed yun sponsor, kasi need po ng orig cert of employment at orig last notice of assessment or yun itr nya.

Hi po. I don't think that length of stay matters in sponsoring your spouse, as long as you meet the sponsorship requirements. i got here sept last yr. went back to get married early this year. Then filed our app june.

If i may ask po, were you already married when you landed here?

She will not be including her spouse as her dependent sa application niya. Plano niya pagland na lang dito tsaka niya isponsor husband niya. Hhhmmm.. Sounds complicated.. Hehe.. ;D ganun dn kmi ng husband ko before. We applied indvidually under FSW, then kinulang cya ng points tapos we decided na mag land muna ako before getting married tsaka sponsor cya. Instead of getting married then include him sa app ko before lnding here.

Kasi f she gets married then ndi nya e include husband nya sa app bka ma red flag cya.

Wag ka magalala sis, maaga pa para magconclude. Pareho tayo ng situation, maaga din medical ko, paexpire na this last week of August. But who knows right? Wag ka lang papaapekto maxado, relax lang at wag pastress. Kung mapa-remedical man tayo, it's all good, ang mahalaga is walang maging problem ang application natin.

Cheer up! We'll get through this. And btw, Feb applicant din ako, hopefully be next month magka PPR na tayo.

I'm just new here at the forum. I just want to ask kasi my medical will expire december of this year and accdg. To the cic website they have received my application this feb 21 2013, and below that info nakalagay din na medical results have been received. I'm just wondering if after they receive our med results what would be the next step or the next reply that i have to expect po? Kasi sabi nyo po u were expecting for a PPR by next month, does PPR mean Passport Request? (Sorry for the ignorance, nangangapa pa po kasi ako sa abbreviations dito sa forum) so meaning po ba passport request na ung next step after they receive my med results?

Yun din sabi ko sa kanya. Pero according daw dun sa consultancy na pinagtanungan niya sa Manila, ok lang daw magchange status kapag hindi pa nafforward sa CIC yung application pero hindi pa rin niya include husband niya as dependent. Para hindi na rin niya kailangan umuwi para magpakasal. Pero I think din na its safer na tsaka na lang sila magpakasal. Thank you.
