yeah, my hubby and i have decided na we will get the max. quantity that the studio could give kasi it did not say nga kung ilan...My other concern is the appendix A, my husband's full name contains 3 names, then his family name, unfortunately d kakasya lahat :( So we're figuring out kung the first or the first two names nya ilalagay ksi kksya:(...
ganyn din po ung sakin. hindi din kaxa kasi two name din po ako.. so ang ginawa ko.. Given name and middle name pinag sama ko

RE: CFO SEMINAR

If you are planning to use your married name in your passport you will need to attend first the seminar for you to secure the CFO certificate which is a requirement for changing status/name in our passport. Then you will go back in their office for the cfo sticker once your visa is already issued.

Now if you are waiting for PPR or you just submitted your passport to CEM it is better to wait for you passport to have a visa stamped on it so that you wont need to go back to their office just for the cfo sticker. But if you have the luxury of time you can attend the seminar and just go back again when your visa is stamped.

In my personal experince i attended the seminar prior to application of our file because we wanted to use my married name althroughout our application. So fo me to change my status and name in my passport i have to secure the cfo certificate because its a dfa requirement. So when the time comes that i have my visa with me(hopefully soon :)) i need to go back to cfo and present the certificate that i already attended their seminar to be able to secure the cfo sticker which is mandatory for all immigrants.

Hope this helps..

May interview pa kase yata sis pag canadian ung spouse.

Yes may interview after ng seminar if Canadian Citizen ung spouse. They will ask for a few infos lang naman regarding your relationship like when did you became official, his/her birthday, wedding date. his/ her address. In my case also, they asked to see at least 4 pictures with my husband. I showed the interviewer lots of pics. :) :) :)

Hello! I was thinking kasi na pagattendin na rin si husband ng seminar kahit waiting pa lang kami for PPR niya. Confused lang ako kasi when I checked CFO's website, visa yung isa sa mga requirements nila when attending the seminar. When are you planning to attend the seminar?

tapos na po akong mag CFO seminar sis nung last March pa, required kasi yung certificate sa DFA kung gusto mong gamiting married name mo (photocopy lng ibigay mo sa kanila but dalhin parin original) .. so yun nga nag seminar na ako hindi naman ako hinanapan ng passport kasi ang reason ko is to renew my pp for my married name.. balik nalang ako dun if may visa na for sticker..hindi rin naman malayo CFO office sa amin since Cebu lang ako.. :D
