base on my experience they will put the date sa letter when they transfer your appl sa CEM.. pag ppr kana makikita mo ang date doon

You can email cem tru here manil @ international.gc.ca inform them about your visa. Sabihin mo asap kasi you plan to buy ticket already and go to canada.

Just a quick question. I just paid the fee last night via online payment and I fill out all the informations on the printed receipt but where could I get the client id? I have my UCI/client id from my permanent resident file. Should I use it or this client id is different number from my PR file?

And another thing, where should I place the Appendix A (Country specific guide) checklist? AFTER or on the TOP of the sponsored/spouse forms?

When sorting the application as per the main checklist there is a section that says "Sponsored person and family members". All the items in that spot have in the description "As per document list provided with the Immigrant's Guide". So I used the main checklist up to part 21, then for 22-27 (the sponsored person parts) I put the Appendix A checklist and everything it asked for in the Appendix A sequence.

guys, has any one tried to get US tourist Visa before leaving for good in Phils? my Visa for canada is fast approaching and wanted to know if it is advisable to get US Visa before i leave for good or can i apply immediately in canada once i arrive under PR status? my purpose is to visit US during weekend. anyone? need your suggestion.

Yup, it's possible. Some people even land and their "ECAS still says Application Received"

I think the question is valid and the intention is not to brag naman. US is really near naman and yes, it is possible to cross the border every weekend. You don't have to be rich to afford that.

It would be best to apply for visa once you get here in Canada. After my appearance, it took three days lang for my visa.
