Important Announcement from the Canadian Embassy, Manila

Important announcementA NEW visa application centre (VAC) will be opening in Manila on July 3 and will be located at 6F Unit 608, Ecoplaza Bldg, Chino Roces Ave Ext., Pasong Tamo Ext., Makati City. The current VAC in Manila operated by PIASI will continue to serve applicants until that time. Please refer to the PIASI website to check cut-off dates for submitting your application before it closes.

Another VAC will also be opening in the Philippines on July 3. The VAC will be located in Cebu on the 9th Floor Keppel Center, Unit 905, Samar Loop cor, Cardinal Rosales Ave, Cebu Business Park, Cebu City. Updates will be provided on the mission site when available


Please be informed that effective 03 July 2013, a new service provider will be handling the acceptance of visa applications for the Embassy of Canada in Manila. Full details will be available on the Embassy website.

Effective July 02, 2013, PIASI's courier pick-up & delivery service of visa applications for Canada will cease. Please take note of the following important dates:

24 Jun 2013 - Final date of pick-up of visa applications by PIASI from outside Metro Manila
26 Jun 2013 - Final date of pick-up of visa applications by PIASI from within Metro Manila

We urge all visa applicants who intend to submit an application through PIASI's courier service to contact the PIASI Call Centre to book your courier pick-up service PRIOR to the above dates. Please note that all passports/documents submitted through PIASI's courier service will also be delivered back to the applicant (by courier) after visa processing by the embassy.

Just read the thread about the AOM. I realized that I did not include an NSO copy of our AOM nor our CENOMARs when I submitted our application to CPC-M. Would that be a major problem? I hope CEM won't delay or return our application because it is incomplete.

Dont worry sis,It wont cause any problem sis.Hindi ko din naipasa yung AOM pero kapag kailangan talaga nila yung AOM magemail sila sa atin together with the ppr . Chill lang tayo sa ngayon sis

Just read the thread about the AOM. I realized that I did not include an NSO copy of our AOM nor our CENOMARs when I submitted our application to CPC-M. Would that be a major problem? I hope CEM won't delay or return our application because it is incomplete.

Afaik po di na po need ng cenomar. If your married what you need is marriage certificate and aom(advisory on marriages). Don't you worry too much kapag hindi mo na isubmit ito together with your application cem will ask for it kapag nag ppr ka na. Cheers!

This must be the reason why medyo tahimik ang cem ngaun... Sana naman maging maayos ang lahat at walang mamisplace na applications. May nakakaalam po ba kung nageexpand ang cem or they are really moving like isasarado na yung nasa rcbc tower and lilipat na totally sa ibang place? On the other hand maybe they just needed a bigger space so they can hire more people so the processing will be faster. isipin na lang natin more space=more people(VO)=more application processed=more visas issued=more happy family...
let's just stay positive guys. This too shall pass...

ask ko lang dun sa spouse sponsored person questionaire na is there a honeymoon after the marriage? Meaning right after the marriage yung honeymoon or pwede yung umuwi muna sya sa bansa nya then nung pagbalik ulit saka pa lang ang honeymoon? kase punta si honey this July and yun pa lang ang honeymoon namin, at saka dun pa lang din kami makakapagpasa ng application coz idadagdag namin yung pagkikita muli na mga proofs....

Hahaha yeah im back! actually hindi ko naramdan yung long flight saka sakit sa pwet lol okay din cathay pacific.. Puro tulog kame ng daughter ko eh hehe tapos eat all you can hahaha nakakatuwa rin naman sa hong kong ang laki ng airport haha ang layo ng nilakad namin ng daughter ko buti na lang may mga parang escalator sila na flat hehe tuwang tuwa yung daughter ko dun eh..

Guys dumating na visa ko since Friday pa June 14 mag PDOS na lang ako this week

Question pala may idea kayo ilan oras or gaano katagal magwait sa immigration port of entry? tinatantya ko kc if ilan oras dapat layover time ko when I reach Vancouver since may connecting flight pa ko to Edmonton, mag book na kc kami ticket ko
