Good morning,

Visa arrived Friday morning. expiration Oct. 2010. My wife will schedule for seminar. Am really happy, it's a new beginning for us. Good luck to everybody. Will update if something new comes up again.

NOV 16 sent application to CPC- Mississauga with all the required documents, (Medical, Police clearance, Cenomar)
DEC 2009 --- approved to sponsor
DEC 24 2009 started processing in manila
Jan 8, 2010 received passport request letter
Jan 19, 2010 sent passport
Mar 11, 2010 received letter asking for certain original copy of document
Mar 29, 2010 sent original copy
May 3, 2010 Decision made; medicals received
processing time 4 months and 1 week up to DM

Currently waiting for Visa.

Am so glad that there is this forum, that we can get information and support.

I wish that our government can do the same, by providing us better access for information and status. ( wishful thinking )

Cool! You should email Manila to make sure they have your correct email address because if your husband didn't get the email maybe they got it wrong! They will need the email address for your PPR.

hi po try ko lang po magtanong. may bf po ako from canada at separated na po sila ng wife nya mag 5 years na. convince po nya asawa nya na magdivorce sila pero ayaw pa din po nung girl unless ibigay lahat ng bf ko ang pera sa wife pero ayaw nya po ito gawin. pwede po sya magfile ng divorce sa 2016 pero di na po pwede magdemand ang wife sa gusto nya. kaso po naiinip na po ang bf ko . ngayon po halos nawawalan na sya ng pag asa. madalas po sya pumunta dito sa pilipina para bisitahin ako. ang balak po nya ay magpakasal kami dito sa pinas kaso di ba po kailangan nya ng legal capacity to marry na kukunin nya sa canadian embassy sa makati. pag ginawa po ba nya na kumuha ng legal capacity to marry makikita po ba sa embassy nila na kasal pa din sya. sabi po nila naiissue daw agad yung copy ng araw ding yun pano po yun detect po ba nila agad kung kasal yung canadian sa bansa nila or hinde. thanks po. agusto lang po nya makasal kami dito pero wala namn po ako balak pumunta sa canada. bale sya po ang mag stay dito sa pinas. salamat po uli

Is he legally separated? kc ang sa pagkakaalam ko if they are legally separated , he can already file an annulment.

Police clearance is required. Its one of their security/background checks if you have criminal records or not. I dont know whats in the checklist now but as far as I know its in the checklist when I passed my application last october 2012. Actually I have it right now, its one of the documents cem returned to me together w/ visa and copr. Cheers!

Hi raffy! Once your son is treated for 6 mos w/ necessary meds w/ regards to his primary complex and the lungs specialist give reports that his clear, I dont see any reasons it will affect his applications! Cheers!

Agree. Required po. Lahat ng clearances na applicable dapat daw isubmit. In fact sa country specific checklist ng requirements ng immigrant ang nakalagay ay police clearance, not NBI.

June 13 ako nagpa sked kasi wala pa akong passport e. Sa friday ko pa po makukuha.ng skip din po. ako ng 1st week ng june kc dpt pag magpapamedical wala kang period kc may urinalysis.
Di pa ako nagsusubmit e mukhang last week ng June na kami makakapg apply ni husband. Kadi nagrequest na ako ng nbi clearance s rob ermita͵mabilis sana kaso sa june 20 ko pa daw makukuha dahil marami daw ako kapangalan. Hay

By the way, Monday pa lang ako tawag sa IOM kasi I still have my period too...Ayusin ko na muna lahat ng papers namin para ma encode ko na next week tapos after the medical maipadala ko na kay husband para makabayad na xa...

Sana mgkita tau sa IOM...me fb ka add din kita...

Ask ko nga pala kung mg include ng joint accounts mgkano ba dapat na minimum amount dun?Do we need to have it anyway?

Okay that's settled then. Were just clarifying things so that other members who happen to read this thread will not be misinformed and submit wrong documents and cic/cem got reasons to delay their applications. As it is we know their slow at processing some applications.
