i think pics of your relationship, your fun times with parents and friends,social events of you 2 together, copies of long distance phone bills,,,,western union receipts, if you got pics of skype or yahoo send them, airline tickets hotel rooms ,,,,,if your relationship is genuine they can tell with the records u dont need a million pics,,,send them what u have dont go overboard dont start doctoring pics by putting messages on them,,,,good luck

3. Only got few receipts kept from our date

** If you're taking LRT, baba po kau ng Quirino station. May mga pedicabs na pong nag aabang doon tpos sabihin nyo lang CFO office alam na nila yun. P 30 pesos po ata pag pedicab..

Mas maigi po pumunta kau doon pag may visa na para after po ng PDOS bibigyan kau ng Certificate ng Guidance and Counseling ng CFO whichis P 400 tpos didikitan na rin ng CFO sticker ung passport nyo.

Imprtante pong may sticker before u leave the Philippines ksi hihinggin yun ng Immigration officer paglabas nyo ng bansa.

If you're going to CFO office, dapat 6am nandun n kau kc they open at 6:30am and maraming nakapila na agad sa oras n yun plus 15 slots lang per country. Pa xerox po kau ng marriage certificate, passport w/visa and then 2 valid ID's.

super tagal ko po d nagpost dto... kasi until now wala p dn kami visa. 2011 p kami, until now its in process parin.. natutuwa po ako sa mga my visa, but sumtimes, it hurts kasi napagiiwanan kami... hehe... but i know darating din... tiaga tiaga lang... in God's time... God bless everyone.

Hi guys, I'm new here. I'm from Manila and is being sponsored by my husband who is in Canada. I just wanna ask your opinion about my case. My husband mailed our complete application package in CPC in Ontario on the first week of February 2013 but we have not received any AOR yet and no result is being returned when I tried to inquire from ecas using our receipt number from IMM 5401.

I emailed the visa office a couple of days back but there's no reply yet. I'm now worried about the progress of the application.

Your comments would be greatly appreciated!

Can anyone enlighten me re our papers being forwarded to CPP - Ottawa prior to sending to CEM? My colleague here at work also has an ongoing sponsorship for his wife. I was told his papers were forwarded to CPP (from Mississauga) then forwarded to Cairo (which is his Visa Office). When he called the hotline, the agent informed him that this is being done now to (supposedly) cut the processing time. The idea was that CPP can do the initial screening and see if they can decide. If the application is a bit complicated, it will then be forwarded to the Visa Office. But it appears that it makes the process longer right?

Our application is straight to the point, we have no kids yet, and we have been in a relationship for 5 years, married for 4 months now. If that is true, it might work for my advantage.

Our application was a simple one as well and it was forwarded to Ottawa. As a result I had one of the longest stage 1 wait times in my group. It certainly didn't get anything done faster since when I called (after the processing limit was reached) they had apparently not even opened the application! It wasn't in their system and they had to "look for it". And I know it was a simple app because from the GCMS notes it was all done except for an expired (and already un-extendable) medical back in mid-March. Of course they didn't ask for a new medical until MAY!

I think the original idea was that Mississauga was so busy that they could use under-utilized staff in Ottawa to manage the overflow. But since they closed Buffalo and among other things there isn't as much "under-utilized" staff available as someone there thought. Some people on here have had parts of their application lost in Ottawa (and in one case, the entire application was "lost").

Since you've got your sponsorship approval your app should have moved on so you should have no worries with regard to Ottawa.

HI sis. SCOS was right. It is supposed to be less than a month to get a Sponsorship Approval. Please call the hotline right away, I hope they give you a feedback.

By the way, has your husband been checking his emails? including junk mails?

I would say less than a month, but they will not touch it until your PPR.
