Guys ako ung primary sponsor ng spouse ko na approve kami back in nov 15, 2012 nung tumawag ako sa cic sabi nila tinaransfer na raw ung papers namin sa CEM nung nov 16, 2012 pero uptil now wala pa rin news.

tuwing i checheck ko naman ung UCI ko wala rin pagbabago decision made pa rin, tanong ko lang pano ba makuha file number para ma try ma check un nabasa ko dati kasi na dun makikita kung may medical recieved na at ibang udates thanks in advance!

hi...We will submit our application this May in Mississauga and my husband is planning to come down here again this coming June. Is it alright if he comes down or he should wait for a month or until he is notified by the embassy about the status of his application as a sponsor before he come down here in the Philippines?

We don't know if we need to notify the embassy that he will come down for a moth to stay with us, he will get visa to stay here anyway for a month and will comeback again later this year until we get the visa.

Please advise us on what to do in case he isn't suppose to leave Canada after we submit our application...Or if it's okay for him to leave for a visit to us, what are the things that we should do and remember...

I got my AOR along with a Passport Request at the same time 6 months later. I guess you can order your GCMS notes and they will tell you where your file is. Maybe others have different experiences.

In my opinion, not until you're around the time of a PPR.. because it won't say anything except they received your file. For peace of mind if you're really worried they're only $5 and take 30 days.

Typically it takes 1 month 2 weeks from new Medical to Decision made, so maybe this week or next week?

Inaasahan ko nga na within 45 days after re-medical last 25 march 2013 makuha na nila passport at ang masama nito di ko na pina-enroll sa trimester and 2nd child ko.

etong natanggap kong email ngayon pagkatapos kong follow up 3 days ago.
Date of initial medical examinations (Dec 2011)

· Name of Designated Medical Examiner/Panel Physician

· Date treatment was completed for your dependents(Re-medical March 2013)

· Date results were forwarded to our office

in this case sabi ng taga St Lukes sila ng bahalang magpasa sa re-medical result. ibig sabihin nito di nila nareceive ang result? ang haba ng pasensiya ko, nauubos na! studyante pa lang anak kong panganay noon DM na application, pinatagal kong pag sponsor sa kanila para makatapos sila sa pinas (BSN - she is now registered nurse since last year) dahil napakamahal ng tuition fee dito, my experienced back to zero here, so i went to night school, working in the day! oh Canada(w!) ngayon delay tuloy...

in-process: april 15,2013

Your kids were declared as unaccompanying dependents before? Like are their names are in your COPR when you got your PR, right? Then, did you still apply for sponsorship for them even though they have been pre approved? And what are the requirements you submitted together with the generic application form?my son is 12 years old and he is pre approved with my papers, I just got my PR this year and we are planning to sponsor him and be with me for next school year here in Canada.thank you so much...hopefully soon you will get the passport for the kids...

Hi Gina, YES to your questions. As long as when you migrate here, and he's in your application as dependent, no worries. just follow the APPLICATION GUIDE IN SPONSORING YOUR DEPENDENT. I've been here for 8 yrs. I didn't sponsor them right away, life in the Philippines at their age at that time is perfect for them to enjoy
you know Canada at this time right? hehehe. I almost leave Canada in my 1 year here. Goodluck!

I want to share my time line until now still waiting if approve or not.

In my case, I sponsored my 2 kids 16 and 19 y/o at the time. They received their application for permanent residence on February 2012. Decision made on May 2012 about the application. Completed all the requirements even the medical. Passport request on July 2012 and sent the passport August 2012 until Last week of JANUARY 2013 I DIDN'T hear anything what is the status. so, I made an Inquiry 4th week of January 2013. I check my eCAS and found,

We started processing application on February 21, 2013.

2nd week of March 2013 I received an email regarding additional requirements (update family information) to get another NBI and to do the MEDICAL again and done on the 25 March 2013 and the guard on duty received the additional requirements on the same day.

So far, my children are waiting. I even sacrifice not to enroll my youngest for the trimester (summer) because I assume they will receive their passport last april. THEY TOOK THEIR PASSPORT 08 AUGUST 2012. about to 9 months hold the passport.

Once again, I follow up 3 days ago and receive a response that they need these;

Date of initial medical examinations
· Name of Designated Medical Examiner/Panel Physician
· Date treatment was completed for your dependents
· Date results were forwarded to our office

Ikr! parang anything can happen.. si hubby kasi pinagsusubmit agad ako once makuha ko na daw un NSO Marriage Cert.
Eh sabi sakin this week daw makukuha un papers so ayun.. medyo nagugulugan tuloy ako pano aausin un mga chatlogs and call logs..

Sis can i ask ano mga nasubmit mo po?

Thanks that's helpful. They followed up with me about our medicals also, and they received 2 out of 3. I will phone the doctor again today and ask those details.
