Hi just want to share about the status meron kasi nakwento hubby ko about sa confusion sa status which may pro-long the processing times and i think nagcause ng refusal dhil ang sbi sa kanila they should have declared na married na cla kasi knwestyon why single pa cya sa certain document pero nagfile ng appeal til now ndi pa nakukuha yung iniisponsor na asawa. May nagadvice kasi sa amin na mas ok kung yung files namin is nasa "married" na sa mga papers sa application para may consistency. Kaya ang nangyari skin ndi pa din paexpire yung passport ko nagfile ako ng change of name para maging consistent sa lahat ng documents dun sa application and just to have my passport changed i need to attend yung seminar sa cfo. Also the nbi clearance nagfile ako ng change of name as well as my prc id. We waited until everything is changed before we file kasi po may nagadvice sa amin na ganun nangyari sa kakilala nila. Just sharing guys though its a case to case basis naman. Basta if you can make your file consistent the better.

Ganun ba?Sa aking yung maroon .lastyear ako nagchange status nang passport ko.Red as in red?or dark reD?

It's actually maroon. People just say red and it's confusing. I don't know who would have a valid passport that's not Maroon.. they have been out for at least 4 years.

In Canada, it is not necessary to change ur last name once u get married. Pwede po kayo magapply agad using ur maiden name basta ang status nyo ay married na. Meron pong part sa application kung gumamit na kayo ng ibang name and iindicate nyo dun kung anong name un, pwede nyo ilagay dun ung intended name nyo after u changed it to ur married name. Understood na po nila na hnd kaagad-agad mapapalitan ang name to a married name. Basta po ang importante and status nyo ay married kasi un naman talaga ung totoong status nyo.

Yup di ko po babaguhin. Anyways wala rin naman sakin yun passport ko hehe pero maganda po yun point mo. Well medyo naguluhan lang ako sa instruction dun sa ppr ng cem sakin considering di ko naman sya masyado pinansin before. At saka nagulat lang ako may color red na nga na passport haha anyways sana lang mag reply yun mga recently nag ka ppr kung anong color yun passport nila sinend at kung may ganon instruction din yun cem w/ regards sa new passport.

Well for me PP ko lang ang may status parin na SINGLE since 2015 pa kasi expiration niya didnt bother na ipa change or i renew. But all in all lahat ng documents na isinama ko sa application eh MARRIED na ang status ko.

Yes I know its maroon. But my aunt & cousin has a new one last friday and its color red theyre not even connected to government. Well, i'll try to take a pic later and post the link here.

hi guys, here's an update as promised:

hubby went this morning around 8am sa embassy and gave them his pp, booking cert & photo. he was asked to return at 3pm and he just phoned now na nakuha na nya pp with visa.. praise God! all the waiting is done. he's going to cfo for pdos tom.. by the way he has the maroon passport..

thank you so much for this forum.. congrats sa lahat ng nagkappr and visa! sa mga nag aantay e it will come in God's perfect timing.just have a lot of patience and strong faith.. it will be worth it! take care guys!!

Magandang umaga po sa inyong lahat,pasensya na po ngayun lng uli nakapagpost,been busy shopping for 2 days.wala kase ako dala damit mula pinas,bilisan nyo pagpunta dito mga kabayan,oh my God ang ganda dito,first day ko dito nakakita pa ako snow. Pray lang po kayo lagi,believe me it works po,saka tiyaga lang kase its worth it,heaven pupuntahan nyo.
