Hi there.

I am new to this forum and have a question about the RPRF (Right of Permanent Residence Fee). We just had our application sponsor approved, and in the email it mentions the RPRF in the standard way :

Code:
If the Right of Permanent Residence Fee is applicable to your application and you have chosen to
defer payment of that fee, you will be contacted to make the payment at a later date. A Permanent
Resident Visa cannot be issued to your relative(s) until this payment is submitted.
We never paid it at time we sent the application as we were not aware of it at the time. These are the questions I have for our spousal application

1) Can the sponsor pay it now while the application is being sent to Manila?
2) Does he pay it to the Mississauga Office?
3) Does not paying it cause a delay in the application process?

Thanks

Guys, I have a question regarding dun sa medical.Kapag may problema ang medical ninyo tatawagan ba kayo nang doctor tungkol sa problema nang inyong medical or ipapasa nila ang medical sa VO without telling na may problema ang medical ninyo?
Kasi for me, I call the Nationwide on October and I ask kung naipasa na ba nila yung medical ko sabi nila pinasa na daw nila at nagtanong ako kung may problema ba sa medical ko at ang sagot wala naman daw problema pero may neighbor ask me about that kind of question kahit may problema ipapasa daw nila without telling sa problema nang medical ninyo? help naman guys kasi hindi ko masagot ang question niya at nacurious na din ako sa tanong niya.

And no PPR? You're the third person this week to get this request with no PPR. I think that a request for remedical means a guaranteed approval. But with no PPR yet it's really weird! Somebody on the English thread recommended a doctor in Manila that was very quick. 2 of the guys posting on the English thread got the same email and no PPR yet, Luckyman earlier this week and Canadian Jeep Guy got one today.

so with that being said, pwede bayaran ang RPRF kahit ongoing na ang application or anytime in between visa approval?

Most people pay it at the beginning, because otherwise it can delay your application. You should pay it as soon as you can, email the receipt to Mississauga, and include a copy of the receipt when you send in your passport.

Yeah, for sure! The guideline to remedicals says only to request them when it's the only thing standing in the way of your visa being issued. In the past it was taking 3 months.. possibly it's down to a month now but I don't want to start any rumours! Be happy they're giving you a chance to do all these things ahead of time, because it seems they have your best interests at heart <3
