Hi Everyone!

I'm Kim. I'm also currently sponsoring my husband. I've been following this thread ever since I started fixing our papers. Nagwoworry po kasi ako. I submitted our application last March 15, I tracked down the mail, they physically received our application on the 18th. Till date, wala pa rin po akong nakukuhang response. Is this normal? Kasi po ang processing time nila is 30 days para sa evaluation ng sponsor. I haven't received our file number yet. Is there something I need to worry about po? thank you po!

Sa amin po, nakatanggap po nang snailmail ang hubby ko na approve sya as a sponsor at kasama po doon ang uci # at application # doon sa papers na nareceive nya. At sabi din po doon they forwarded my application dito sa Visa Office Manila.Hintay2x lang po kayo makareceive na rin po kayo nang news within this week!

My husband receive a mail from Missasauga on Feb.6,2013 and it said Approve sya as a sponsor on Jan.31,2013 at pinapasa nila ang papers namin dito sa Manila desame date yun ang nakalagay sa papers eh.Hindi po sila nagbabase sa age.21 then ako and coming 22 this Saturday. Makareceive din kayo nang news within this week po as long as binigay ninyo ang lahat nang documento at lahat nang evidence. wala po yung problema. Spousal sponsorship po ba ang application ninyo or conjugal partner? Coz I heard na pinaprioritize daw nila yung spousal sponsorship pero not sure kung totoo ba yung case by case kasi ang processing. Wala pong problema sis basta habaan niyo lang ang pasensya ninyo.Parepareho lang po tayo nang emotion dito.nakakabaliw talagang maghintay .

Thanks trxcis! nag request ba sila ng interview sayo? Puede bang malaman kng ano ang mga redflags mo bakit na deny ang application mo before?

Yup,separate yung interview namin kasi i was in the States at that time so i was on a speakerphone while my fiancee (now wife) was at the embassy in manila. What i can remember is that they were looking for proof of cohabitation for at least a year (billing statements, credit cards,etc, with both OUR names in it). We obviously didn't have 'em. Then my wife sort of asked the VO on the 'best option for us' and like i said, the VO hinted marriage.

I dont have any news from cem yet.. Anyways iv done my remed on march 13 and 19 for my xray and according to the doctor they already forwarded it to cem. Thats around march 27, so for now waitng game lang din for me..
