Hi Fhe! Good day! :)
Wait for the Passport Request (PPR) letter from CEM.

God bless. :)

Hi people. My husband and I got married last Oct 2012. Unfortunately, we just got our marriage contract last week. Anyway, I will be submitting our application in Misassauga this week. It's so frustrating when I saw that the average waiting time is around 12 months :( I know a lot here are on the same boat. It just feels comforting when you know you're not alone.

Thank Akee.! Baguhan lang kasi ako dito kaya di pa ako gaano marunong sa link na binigay mo althou tinignan ko: sos idea lang ba gaano katagal ang pag hihintay sa PPR?

Welcome po. :)
Basically, you can use the spreadsheet as a guide or as a monitor sis, in addition to our eCAS.
But, hindi lang po idea kung gaano katagal ang paghihintay ng PPR mo ang use ng spreadsheet sis, kasi it also shows ung steps na pgdadaanan ng isang application..natanung mo kasi kung ano ang next after nung file transfer to CEM.
Waiting will have the biggest part sis.
Right now, may mga ka-batch kna ata na June 2012 na may PPR sis...so, baka malapit na dn ung sayo. ;)

Hello everyone waiting.... Well so far no PPR for Feb.... and the max days looks to be 160 days but 2 people waiting at 166 hope it moves fast for all of you ...WOW... waiting for your spouse really sucks... esp if you paid everthing in advace.... well we are at 112 now and my wife is getting excited... but hope she arrives before May 7 its our 1 yr anniveresy.... waiting for the NSO was a waithing time almost 4 months.... hope soon the CEM has all org docs... lets just hope it moves qick... I feel for you all ....

well just got some news for all of us .... the CEM has now raised it to 12 months..which means alot of our meds are going to expire before we are approved... which means pay another 5300 pesos again after we paid 1040.00 Canadian dollars... and hold you up over 1 year... Hey by the time your spouse is here they will be strangers... When I applyed it was 9 months... now 12 .... which means all meds will be no good... who gets the money....

Grabe nakakalungkot talaga yung pag raise nila to 12 months waiting. We're just keeping our hopes high, hopefully it will be quicker soon. Expect the worst, but keep hoping for the best!
