May tanong lang po sana ako sa inyo. I just recently got my PR card. I'm planning to go back to the Philippines to get married and to sponsor my future husband. The waiting period for the releasing of marriage license in the Philippines is 10 working days. However, I'll be arriving there less than 10 days before our wedding date. I was told to get an Affidavit of Cohabitation in lieu of the marriage contract. Is it advisable to get an Affidavit of Cohabitation instead of the marriage contract? Wouldn't the CIC think that we were common-law partners before I landed? Wouldn't that be a problem when the time comes to sponsor him? I'll appreciate all your feedbacks and comments. Baka magka-problema ako kapag i-sponsor ko na sya.

Kailan ba ang uwi mo? pwede naman na ipadala sayo ng bf mo yun license form na sya mong pipirmahan, then ipadala mo pabalik sa Pinas para sya na magayos nun License nio before ka pa makauwi tumakbo na yun 10 working days posting nila (if ever may oras ka pa). Affidavit of cohabitation na ipresent mo sa LCR dito para di nio na kelangan ng License yun ba ang ibig mo sabihin?(baka mali ako ng pagintindi)...If ever tama pagkaintindi ko 5 years dapat kayo nagsama para di nio na need ng license.

magkakaproblema ka po talaga. Take the normal route. That license can be declared null and void because the notarial/sworn statement is spurious/fake dahil wala ka during the filing. Cohabitation means nagsama kayo, so even your PR application declaration may be questioned or challenged.

I understand you sis. Iba kasi talaga ang mga sagot at sinasabi niya eh so can't blame u kc nagrereact ka lang naman sa kung ano nabasa mo. Just like i did sa sinabi niya lalo na yung about sa Diyos. Sana lang maisip niya na yun.

Basta yon sa amin marriage my hubby just here for 3 weeks and that time naka book na lahat venue church priest..he was here Saturday the seminar will be Wednesday..Sabi ko sa civil registrar ipa sked na kami ng marriage license seminar ayaw nila ako I sked if di nila kita ang lalake sa filing so doon at wedneday pa kami maaga para kami ma sked on that day seminar.. so na waste ang 3 days naming.. so dapat sked naming sa wed was Nov.20 so na move Nov.23 hubby go home Nov.25..Buti nalang puede puede na move yon mga catering. Pero na change lng sa amin ang pare kasi may sked na iba yon pare at 1st.

May isa nga doon sa civil registry na babae na sabi pa nya we just paid 10k hindi na kami kailangan ng seminar hindi na kailangan hsband ko ditto at 1st..sinabi ko yon sa filing unintentionally kasi ayaw nga nila kapag wala ang lalake sa filin..Ah yon sinibak yon empliyado nila.hindi daw yon puede

I didnt said anything bad sayo sa feb batch at all my point ka naman your giving a concrete count sa 9 months... If you read my comment there I even defended you... but just a little advice sis, we are all here frustrated about our applications why not say something in a cool way po not say something like "Ay hindi tiningnan sabi nang tingnan" nakaka bobo xa sis... If your in pain dahil sa nabasa mo yung nireplyan mo nun felt the same... LET'S ALL BE FRIENDS HERE TAYO RIN LANG NAMAN ANG NAGDADAMAYAN...

I totally agree with you sis " let's all be friends here tayo rin lang naman ang nagdadamayan".

I've noticed that some people on this thread have had decisions made and have already landed even though they sent in their application later than my husband and I. I'm really happy for you guys but my stomach is just churning right now.

After all that I have done and after everything we've been through... I just feel that we deserve to finally be together and start a life together and hopefully start a family.

Please don't take offense people. Im just having one of those days. :'(

very well said sis i used to like this forum, everyone was nice and respectful to every one's opinion, but then nung may mga sumali na na may mga attitude problem or bitter i lost interest joining the discussions, sana let's all be friends here and treat each other with respect and not with attitude PEACE EVERYONE

Ano kaya cause ng delay?
Kelan po pnadala ung passport ng husband niyo sa CEM?
Ano na po nakalagay sa eCAS ninyo?

Sis naranasan ko na rin ito ng maraming beses :'( pareho nyo rin po nararamdaman ko ang ganitong feeling ang hirap diba nakakainggit yung iba bago palang sila may visa na agad . Pagnagbabasa ako ng mga nadi DM at nagkakavisa na naiiyak ako masaya ako para sa kanila sobra kasi makakasama na nila ang mahal nila sa buhay at makakapag start na sila ng bagong Chapter ng buhay nila. Iniisip ko nalang palagi siguro sa atin po ay darating din at malapit na sobrang malapit na. Ganito ang nararamdaman ko dati na sobrang feeling ko down na down nako at nawawalan na ng pag-asa kaya ginagawa ko I kept on praying na sana dumating na ang mga Visa natin. Tapos dumadating nalang yung araw at oras na di ko ineexpect may good news na dumadating from CEM ... Mag pray nalang tayo at ibibigay din ni Papa Jesus ang para sa atin. :'(

I know medyo irrelevant ang tanong pero curious lang po ako. My sponsor is a permanent resident, kung sakaling mag check ng criminal records nya san po ba yan iche-check sa NBI Philippines pa rin po ba? or sa Canadian authorities? Kelangan nya bang kumuha ng NBI clearance sa Pinas? TY sa makakasagot...

I actually already emailed them but realized I wasn't supposed to since it hadn't been one year yet. I will definitely email them at the one year mark but I know they need a 28 day allowance to reply to your message!!!

Oo Nester ikaw na! daig mo pa si google sa dami mong alam..know what? kahit wala sya sa filing ng License niya basta napirmahan niya at dumaan sa consulate dun pede na ayusin ng bf niya dito, LEGAL documents na yun! pa null and void ka pa dyan, there is no such thing as null and void kung dinaan mo sa black and white..parang SPA na yun representative mo lang ang needed to attend! Minsan wag na tayo sumagot sa mga ask ng iba na hindi tayo sure at nagmamarunong lang, imbes makatulong tayo e nakakadagdag lang ng lito..Sabihin mong tama ka, wala na ko paniniwalaan sa forum nato

NOTE**** Ipafile lang.. kailangan lang tumakbo ng 10 posting days ng license..may mga pipirmahan pa sila dalawa pagdating niya dun mismo sa officer ng civil registry at pipirma din yun officer na yun sa license nila saka pa irelease yun..so ano ang mali dun? nandito na sya saka marelease diba? Anyway ok ka naman sa English Nester period! ;D
