Today is my b-day sept.2 ... I hope this coming week, makakatanggap na ng letter asawa ko from embassy for medical renewal. That would be a nice gift from embassy. Hayzzz really miss my husband :( it's been 1 year and 2 months already yung application namin :(

Bakit po umabot ng 1 year and 2 months? :(
Na-prepressure na din ako...sana naman mabilis na lng. :(
Anyway, still have a happy birthday. God will make a way. :)

Question po...
How will I be informed about PPR po?
Will I receive an email from CEM po ba? or snail mail lang?
Kasi I have a work from Mon. to Fri., and no one is left at home to receive mails. :(
Thank you. :)
Please contact your local post office and update mr postman weekly or daily if you already have Letter frm CEM :)

Happy bday!

If I may ask - did you request GCMS notes already - under the new Access to Information and Privacy Acts?

No, i was gonna order before but then my husband's application changed to "in process" n embassy e-mailed me that they will send a letter for his medical renewal shortly. Di ko lang alam kung kelan nila isesend. I had helped also from my MP here in montreal. I don't mind waiting, hirap lang kac malayo sa asawa ko. Minsan di mo na rin maiwasan na nag aaway kayo dahil sa stress.

I see. Should things not go on as planned or nothing happens, you have the option of getting GCMS notes - it takes 1 month to get them. It gives you a picture of whole application status and you can see where the next step will be or where in the process it has stalled.

Cheers, keep positive. If I may (and I do hope I am not exceeding family bounds or offending you and your hubby) I would suggest you encourage your hubby to join this forum, for him to see and exchange ideas and messages with others and then he can share in what you are going through while processing the application. The forum has been a great source of solace, aside from information, for those seeking to reunite families.

I just noticed.. Your category is PNP (provincial nominee program) is it the same process with Family Class?

Hello all... My husband got his PPR last aug 30 and he will send it via FedEx on Tuesday. His medical will expire on october 11, 2012. I hope he will not have to re do his medical. Hopefully CEM issues the visa before his medical expires.

Hayyyy ano kaya mangyayari?

Hi, I hope you do not have to do this, but this will help so you don't have to repeat medical examination and pay the fees when your medical expires and you still haven't gotten your visa. Check this link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/bulletins/2012/ob423.asp

\Prepare for the inevitable. Medical now takes about a month bago nila ipadala at matanggap ng cic from cem. Chances are magrerequest pa ang DMP ng another shot ng xray.... a money making scheme. Regarding the passport, make sure it is still valid for at least 2 years. And the NBI should be one taken within the last 6 months. Kung minsan di sila mahigpit pero yan ang requirement.
