Guys, I have received my AOR nung July 19, 2012 pero until now wala pa rin approval letter na dumarating. :'( Sa E-CAS nakalagay Decision made na pero mag 1 month na e wala pa rin sulat or e-mail na natatanggap si hubby. Should I make a followup or must I wait a few more weeks in the mail? :'(

Hello guys!
At last my ECAS is not empty anymore but I just want to ask the following which are shown from my ECAS under my status, it says:

DECISION
MADE
(A decision has been made at this point.)

Medical Results Received by CIC
We have received your medical results. We will contact you only if additional tests are needed.

Approval Status Determined
Your application will be either approved or rejected. We will inform you of the decision in writing.

Permanent Residence Status Determined
If your application is approved, we will send you your permanent resident documentation and a letter saying what we need to finalize your permanent residence.

and under my husband's status it says:

IN
PROCESS
(A decision has not been made yet.)

Application Received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC)
We have received your application and will review it in order of receipt. We will send you an acknowledgement letter.

Documentation Verified by CIC
We are reviewing your application to make sure it is complete and that no documents are missing. We will return incomplete applications for resubmission.

Sponsor Advised of Eligibility
We are reviewing your application to make sure you meet the CIC requirements for sponsoring a member of the family class.

CIC Forwards Sponsorship Application to MICC
We will send your sponsorship application to the Ministère de l''Immigration et des Communautés culturelles (MICC). They will send you forms for completion.

Return the completed forms to MICC (some must be signed by the person you are sponsoring), along with the necessary supporting documents and applicable fees.

DECISION
MADE
(A decision has been made at this point.)

Sponsor and Visa Office Advised of Decision Made
If MICC approves your Undertaking, you will receive copies of your accepted application form. MICC will tell you what to do next.

If MICC rejects your Undertaking, they will inform you. You will have an opportunity to appeal this decision

Im a bit confused if they said a decision has been made we don't know yet if it is approved or disapproved? we will know it when we received letter from them?

Thanks!

Hi Chelseaviel,

Yup, it looks like they have reached a decision but don't want to notify you what the decision is (approved or not) via internet. They want to notify you of the decision outcome in writing via snail mail. So you'll just have to wait.

Sounds good though, I think! unless you have any concerns.

Thanks sis. About your query, I've read that at the first port of entry in canada as a permanent resident an officer will ask you to sign in his/her presence the Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR form or IMM 5292) then you will use the FORM B4 (Personal Effects Accounting Document) and FORM B4A (Personal Effects Accounting Document)(List of Goods Imported)

PR na sana wifey ko last Feb 2012 as exit nya dito sa pinas. Kaso March 2012 we got married.pumunta kami sa embassy kasi before daw sya umalis sa canada for vacation dito sa pinas kung papakasal kami inform manila office bout the change of status so yun cancelled muna daw PR nya may immigrant visa na nga sa passport eh.

So kaagano kaya ako katagal intay miss ko na wifey ko?
Bale submit kami ng docs April 4, she received letter for med ko april 12 plus additional docs daw.
May 3,2012 tapos na ako sa medical sa st.lukes and may 9 ata we sent the last request sa email bout her reprinting fee.

Would it take 6-12months?
Salamat :)
