Question to those who are already in Canada....

i am toronto bound soon. Nag dala ba kayo ng food? I am planning kasi to bring Iligan peanuts, polvoron, Lemon squares na cheesecake and some cookies. If may dala kayo na food sa luggage, was it declared dun sa list of goods? I was wondering if thats allowed or not? would love to hear your experiences

Hi.. pag po umuuwi ako sa pinas nagdadala din ako ng mga foods dito and kelangan po ideclare din kasi mahirap na pag di ka nagdeclare tas binuksan nila ung mga luggage mo mas masisita and baka pag bayarin ka pa ng tax.. pwede po sabihin nyo na mei dala kayo na chips, bread, etc.. pwede naman talaga magdala ng mga foods basta inde madami and bawal ang meat..

I am not sure if understand all correctly but peanuts for sure you are not allowed. Usually anything food (organic food, nuts , plants , meat,fruits and veggies are not allowed when travelling internationally)

I wouldnt take any risk of this nature.

sa baggage mo lalagay yang mga yan. ok lang yan .. wag lang sobrang dami para di mag mukang ibebenta mo sya pagdating mo ... personal comsumable nlng lagay mo sa mga foods.. sa vancouver kac dati di ako sinita.. dala ko ng nun 5 rim na sigarilyo ang allowed lang isang rim heheheh... basta di k mukang kahinahinala hehehe

hi anndc89, i think parepareho lng po tau nang timeline, kaso parang nauna ka ngka ppr sakin, yung date nang letter sa ppr ko is feb 10,2012. na receive ko march 7,2012.. and dumating sa embassy yung passport ko march 9, 2012.. sana po may visa na tau next week!
