Almost the same po eh, in my case I checked with St. Raphael Travel and Tours, they have me at $820 all in going to Edmonton, but they determine the date; through Expedia I can get $937 but I get to choose my own date. If I wanted to get creative, I can also get a straight flight to Vancouver (PAL) for $800, and avail a Westjet promo ticket for $80 going to Edmonton.

I guess it all boils down to your mode of payment (travel agencies accept cash only; online payments accept credit card) and convenience of booking.

Guys one month na passport ko sa embassy until now application and medical received padin.. Passport appendix A, and additional family information. Lang ang hiningi nla sakin.. Kailan kaya darating ang visa? Haaayy..

Wala padin eh.. Kahit add. Wala! medical result lng meron ung sau ba? Sabi kc ng mother in law usually it will takes 3-6 weeks only b4 ma received ang visa.. Kaya lng nkaka frustrate na tlga.. Hoping this week may balita na..

Anu? parang ang gulo... use courier then sa canada post?
We sent ours via DHL using CIC courier address.. Took 3 days bago dumating sa CIC M. I suggest you use courier address it is much faster and you can track your package.

do i need to have the photocopy of my passport notarized as certified true copy? i wasn't aware of it, i just photocopied it and sent it to my sponsor (my wife)...
some other suggestions pls. I had 2 votes already na hnd papanotarized un photocopy ng passport..please

ok thnx, I had 3 votes already. hehe... i have another concern. we have given each other love letters back in 2006, 2007 and 2008 but they were hand delivered... so no postmarked envelopes,, and they are not in english,, do u think i still need to include them as proof of our relationship? because they are not in english, i thought of not including it anymore because i think it needs to be translated by a attorney??? any suggestions? thnx

yes you can include it- because we did.Just make a sampling of those letters and state that you hand delivered it.
NO NEED for translations.You only need to translate A LEGAL DOCUMENT written in foreign language(e.i. not in English).

another question, mga ilang pay stubs ang pwedeng ilagay? pwede bang tatlo lang? un lang po kc nahanap ng wife ko dun sa mga pau stubs niya...

if you can't find "enough" pay stubs. My suggestion is to ask your wife request an employment certificate from HR or a letter from the HR saying that your wife is receiving this salary everymonth,benefits etc.


We didnt submit the option c as we can't wait for it anymore. what we did was to submit the ff:

submitted completed tax returns and the printouts directly from revenue canada's website
some paystubs
a letter from employer(breakdown of benefits,monthly salary,etc)
employment certificate(current)
and an attached explanation letter why we can not submit an option c printout

everything turned out fine.

btw, these love letters are just your proof of relationship?
It would be best if you include some emails and/or chats.

how would you know your UCI? sa sponsor po ba ibibigay or sa applicant?

Both the sponsor and applicant will have their own UCI numbers.
The sponsor* will have his/her UCI number upon approval of the sponsorship and applicant will have his/her UCI number when he/she gets her passport request letter.

* if the sponsor is a PR of canada, he/she already has a UCI number
