good day po sa lahat ng members. . .tnong ko lang kung kelangan na bang magpamedical agad bago ko isend ung application ko sa wife ko who is in edmonton? nagtanong kc ako sa DMP sa baguio city, which is the nearest from my location. Ang sabi nung nakausap ko, dalhin ko daw ung letter from embassy na nareceive ko, eh hnd pa naman kami nagpapasa ng application,,, advise naman po... is it ok to have my medical done now or hintayin ko muna na makapagpasa ng application ung wife ko??? thanks and GB!

you can download the medical form sa websitr ng cic... sa baguio din ako nag pamedical sa st louis hosp.. di sila stricto dun kala ko nga pag huhubadin ako.. heheh interview lang then laboratory na nad xray.. kasama ang medical sa application kung hindi ibabalik ang application nyo...

when i landed ang hiningi lang sa akin is my PP and COPR..the immigration diddnt ask me for BC or any other docs...

pati nbi hindi hiningi kasi na check naman na nila sa application palang... pero if may baby kang kasama ilagay mo nalang sa hand carry mo BC naka tanungin pero im not sure.. preggy plang kasi ako nung nag land ako.. yap tatanungin ka ng immigration officer kung saan ka titira, nung sa akin nun tinanung when last umuwi sa pinas ang asawa, kelan bumalik, ilang months nag stay sa pinas.. di naman mahirap na mga tanung hehe... wala pang 5 mins yun...ang medyo matagal sa customs if hahalukayin ang baggage mo...

As what I have understand
"The change to the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations will require a sponsored spouse to remain in the marriage for no less than two years after being granted permanent residence status in Canada. The new conditional residency will apply to common-law marriages, as well."


It means that you cannot leave your husband or get divorced within two years after you received the PR.
This will be implemented because there's fraud marriage cases.
-That after they received their visa and landed to Cad. they cannot get divorced or separated for 2 years.

EXACTLY!!! the no less than two years they were saying is applicable only AFTER BEING GRANTED THE PR STATUS and NOT THAT A COUPLE MUST BE IN RELATIONSHIP OR MUST BE MARRIED IN NO LESS THAN TWO YEARS PRIOR TO THEIR APPLICATION WAS SUBMITTED[/color]... I was actually wondering how did they come up with the latter lol
