Guys meron bang cases na delayed yung update nang ecas then maka received ka nang call or dadating ung pass mo with VISA prior to its update?

Yes, meron mga cases na bigla na lang may nagdedeliver ng VISA kahit in-process pa yung ECAS.
Hindi talaga reliable yun, pero syempre yun lang naman ang pwede natin i-check for updates kaya
nakakafrustrate lalo kapag waiting ka.

[ Thank you naku sana nga visa na coz it took din na 1 year bago nag DM super stress ang dinanas namin ng hubby ko.

Yung sa akin, nareceive ko agad visa, tapos after 1 week ng pagkareceive ko saka ako naging DM sa ECAS. Akala ko nga, citizenship card ng baby ko o may hinihingi pang document yung tinawag ng courier. Manipis kasi, yun pala yung pagkakamail, nakabukas yung passport kaya manipis. Visa na agad.

ung sa akin 400 ang siningil ng DHL.

ay akala ko ako lang! ako din 400 singil sakin hehe medjo mabigat nga daw sabi ng mr dhl sakin eh and binalik lahat ng docs ko (card / printed pic / remittance etc)
and tiga cainta ako.. sa receipt 400 din pero hindi handwritten sakin eh printed ung receipt..double check ko pa nga eh.. hindi na din naman ako makakareklamo kase matagal na un
hehe nagtaka din ako nun kase mga friend/kasabayan ko dito eh 95-100 lang din singil sa kanila.

Nakakalungkot namang isipin, ako sana maibalik yung mga cards kasi memories namin yun ni hubby nung una palang kaming magkakilala

Hi everyone. I'm just a newbie in this forum. I need some advice/help from who ever has an answer in my case. We used LBC as our courier when I submitted my AOR, PPR and additional documents. We just learned lately that this courier is not accepting courier collect and that was our biggest mistake because we still used LBC as our return address. We called the embassy so many times for several hours to inform them about our case but unfortunately it just keep on ringing the whole day. We are so worried because Visa Officers might be confused were exactly to send it and this also can waste precious time. Do you think guys Embassy will just ignore LBC and proceed to DHL to send our docs? By the way we already reached the decision made in Ecas last Jan.20, 2012. Thank you and may God bless us all.

Same here. May red ribbon pa naman yung transcript ko.

Lahat hindi nasoli pati cards, sabi na alng ni hubby, mag-iipon na lang daw kami ulit ng cards. We have a lifetime, para magbigayan ng cards and letters .

It does not follow that the courier you used in sending will be the one used by embassy to send back. The documents will be delivered to the address you gave, by any means available to them. If you call them about your concern, you will just irritate them. They are not babies.

HI to all..Is there a way to notify CEM of a change of address where to deliver back our docs (Passport/Visa)? we sent our PPR and appendix A August 6,2011 pa but we have not received it back yet till now. My delivery address is my current office but im moving to a different office soon. Is there a way to have a change of address for PP and Visa deliver? ANy comment/ input would help a lot..

Just send them an email about your concern. Email address is mentioned in the PPR letter sent to you. Just mention your file number for easy reference.

Thanks Kismet..congrats to you and your hubby too..Im a May batch, got my sponsor approved in June and PPR request in July, we sent PP/ appendix A August 6, to date wala pa rin update (ecas still on application received and medical results received pa rin). Hope and pray will get an update soon..
