They usually send an urgent mail through the local post.
You may want to check out your post office.

There were cases too like this where the sponsor sends an email
to CIC and tell them how long they have been waiting for the letter
and requests for a copy to be sent through email.

Hello Everyone

Naka receive ung spouse ko a call from a lady last December 23, 2011, saying that the Canadian Embassy already sent a letter last December 14, 2011 requesting for additional requirements for our Spousal Application. However its already January 5th and yet we still haven't received the said letter.

It states sa Instructions for sending an email enquiry that

- If you have been informed that we have sent you correspondence by mail, please be patient as mail normally takes 2 weeks to arrive.

How long does it usually takes? Are they using snail mail? What courier they use? Suggestions/Comments would be helpful

Thanks ;D

We call the contact numbers and they told us that they are using Air21.

I will have my wife send the email first and I will do a follow up. My ECAS

is showing Decision Made and its approved. This one is causing us delays

BTW ano ba ung included and need files sa letter na nisend nila? They told my wife that they only need the AOM and Appendix A

-poor me

The letter you are actually waiting for is the acknowledgement letter
and the passport request form.

This is not sent by Air21 but rather though the local post,
really check on the local post office. Because of the previous holidays,
the letter might have been piled under other letters.

And I suggest you better do the email inquiry because
there were instances that CIC will not answer inquiries
by applicants when they still do not have a client ID number
(which you can get from the acknowledgement letter).

Thanks a lot :) we also include my UCI on the email that we just sent in that way they could track it.

After this what would be the next step? Does my wife need to go to different Seminars? Approx how many month

is the process?

hmm... cguro kapag lumagpas na sa 2 months. kasi baka hindi lng din nila ientertain ung email mo. pero for now, ihanda mo na lahat ng mga typical na hinihingi. like, ung AOM and NBI Clearance, etc. para pagdating ng letter, the next day or even on that day, pwede mo na isend sa CEM ung docs agad. :D

Oh Plush, I just noticed that you are required to submit AOM, that is Advisory on Marriages
which you can request from NSO using the Cenomar form. While waiting for the letter,
I suggest you process this now because it might take at most a week before you can get this.
