in my case, CIC-M called me, and asked me some additional documents, like travel tickets ko to canada, recent bank and credit card statements kasi i just recently came back when I passed the application. I am the sponsor by the way.

Hello, I'm the sponsor too, wala naman na hiningi sa akin, with what i remember sa aplication nag ask sila bout bank statements or yung income tax mo, baka hindi complete yung documents na sinubmit mo that's why nag ask sila ng addtl. papers...

Yes tama si ischie yung bank statement at income tax return form kasama talaga yun kasi nandun yun sa document checklist na requirements ng sponsor

actually, hindi naman kami kulang. they just want to know na im back in Canada, since i was away for more than a year. we passed the application, a week after i came back here in Canada. hehe!

How about yung RPRF payment kailngan mabayaran na rin agad kasi nakaka cause din ng 2 months delay yun sa process ng requirements

a. It is advised to pay the processing fees and RPRF at the same time. For late payment of RPRF, additional 2-month delay in the finalization of the PR application.

Dito ako sa Vancouver, yung hubby ko dyan sa Pinas. waiting na nga lang ako sa letter nya na nag ask for his passport...

The next day kumuha kana ng SIn and health card.
Ask ko lang anung dala mung documents to apply health card as newly immigrant.
Puwede na ba apply nun the next day na pagdating mo

all you need is your passport wherein naka attach na po dun yung confirmation of permanent residence mo. me and my husband went to service canada center here sa area nya different from what the lady told me at the immigration area na imail daw namin yung application form, dun sa service canada wala na kami binayaran sa pagfill out ng form bale sila na yung magmail nun and we just have to wait for about 3months for the health card. same with sin card -- duon naman bigyan ka na agad sin number on the print out form with their signature you can use it while you wait for the actual card which if im not mistaken will take about 2weeks

you guys are right visa na nga dumating for my wife. i'm so happy we can leave the philippines together to start a new life in vancouver. we sent her application april 2011 and got the visa november 2011. that's only 7 months! woohoo! good luck to all of you

June 2 - submit to CIC
July 11 - received letter from CIC that sponsor is approved
July 19 - CEM received the application
Aug 15 - request of passport and additional documents (AOM and appendix A)
Oct 15 - based on ecas they started processing my husband's application
Nov 24 - DM
Nov 26 - VISA

tnx... yeah sobrang thankful and super excited... so booking na lang... mejo mapapamahal ata kami kase gusto sana namin by dec 3. para andito sya ng anniv namin...
