teka mali..bat pla d nalang yung hubby mo yung mag-apply sa canada isend mo nalng skanya yung mga kelangan nya document. kasi nkalagay dun mag-add k p ng 3-4 mos kung mag-apply k sa manila embassy..so in total prang 9-10 mos sya pg sa pinas ng-apply pero within canada nkalagay eh 6 mos lang..tska pataagin mo rin c hubby mo sa cic sa canada to make sure lang kung yung parent n nsa canada nalang ang mag-aaply on your son's behalf.

Note: If you are applying through a Canadian embassy, high commission or consulate from outside Canada, add an additional 3 to 4 months to the total processing time.

If you are applying on behalf of a minor child residing outside Canada and the application is submitted directly to the Case Processing Centre in Sydney, Nova Scotia, add an additional 6 to 8 months to the total processing time.

yup malamig nga tlaga dito..paiba-iba kasi panahon dito, hindi stable katulad ng ibang mga province lalo na pag sa winter nakaka-asar
pero yung husband ko taga ontario talaga sya..canadian born citizen sya talaga, first nation canadian..dito na kami nag-meet sa calgary then 3 and half year na ko dito

hi..i need your help guys..im from the Philippines and married to a filipino husband(but now he is a canadian citizen already).we have a 3y/0 son. my questions are these:

1. we filed our application under family class including my son's application, it was too late for me to realize that we should filed it separately,mine under spousal category and my son under application citizenship certificate category

2.if there's a possible problem that we might encounter?regarding on this matter?

3.what should we do? do we have to apply for our son's citizenship while waiting for the result of our application under family class sponsorship?

Hi,
I'm Canadian so when my son was born in Philippines he was deemed Canadian.
If your son was born and your husband was already a Canadian Citizen, then all you have to do is apply for citizenship card for him.

question po about the new Generic form IM 0008...new form na may barcode, before printing it will be VALIDATED di ba? what does that mean? once it is validated, may record ka na yun sa immigration? or may copy na sila? di ba they only keep track if the applicant has client number?

Hi aikarex. Ako yung hubby ko Canadian(naturalized) tapos may newly born son kami. Isasama ko sana sa application ko pero sabi ng visa section sa consular daw ako mag-apply ng citizenship nya.

Eto mga kelangan mo.

1. Marriage Certificate
2. Birth Certificate na nakamention name ng hubby nyo
3. Hospital Records( Delivery record at records ng check up at ultra sounds mo)
4. Passport stamps ng hubby mo (Original)
5. CItizenship Card nya (Original)
6. Application form na nasa site http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/CIT0001E4.asp
7. 2 Passport photos, specified sa site yung sukat/ Iba ito sa photo specs natin as PR.
8. 75 CAD ang fee

DApat iaapply mo ito kung saan nakareside ang baby ngayon. YUng hubby mo pupunta sa nearest passport office sa Canada para ipresent yung orig citizenship card nya at passport.

Kelangan maprove na kanya yung baby , titingnan nila kung kelan naconceive.

Once makuha mo na visa mo, pwede mo na sya iapply ng passport. Babalik ka ulit sa consular section. Magbigay ka letter of explanation na kung pwede bilisan process ng proof of citizenship ng baby mo o bigyan ka ng limited validity passport kasi isasabay mo na sya. Ganyan din kasi gagawin ko. Hinihintay ko lang yung visa ko. Yan yung explanation sa akin sa consular section.

Applying for a Citizenship Certificate – First Time Applicant
Please submit:
1. Completed Application for a Citizenship Certificate;
2. Original birth certificate which lists parents’ names. If the certificate is not in English or French, it must be accompanied by a certified or notarized translation. If born in the Philippines, then the birth certificate must be issued by the National Statistics Office (NSO) or authenticated by the NSO (if the child is below six months old);
3. Original proof (Canadian birth certificate or Canadian citizenship card) confirming that one or both of the parents was a Canadian citizen at the time of the applicant’s birth;
4. Two (2) pieces of the applicant’s personal identification (such as a driver’s licence, passport, provincial health care card, SIN card, SSS Card, Postal ID, etc.), at least one of which contains the applicant’s photo;
5. If available, the original marriage certificate of the parents;
6. Hospital delivery records (if applicable) and pre-natal documents such as ultrasound reports and record of mother’s consultations with the medical practitioner for the duration of the pregnancy;
7. Parent’s Canadian passport showing the relevant entry and exit visa stamps at the time of the child’s conception (For parents who are normally resident outside the Philippines);
8. Two (2) identical photos (Different specifications from Canadian passport photos). See Citizenship Photographs Specifications;
9. The processing fee.

san ka po sa canada? i dont know for other provinces ah, pero heresa vancouver u have to upgrade and pass the CRNB exams para maging RN or LPN.
