Hi everyone...My husband and I went to the bank yesterday to apply for my son's savings account...it was surprisingly got an introductory support for first time immigrant thru VISA card...I didn't expect that banks and the Government here have a tie up program to assist financially those migrant here...the bank asking my passport and SIN and thats it they give me a VISA card with $1000 credit limit for now...no annual charge for 1 year...its a good amount for starter better than nothing...well it depend on how we spend it...I'd take it for a reference in case my husband and I decide to mortgage a house in the future...and BTW i've got my SIN card today together with my son's SIN...to all waiting keep praying and God bless po.

Just make sure to pay on time to keep a good credit.it easier to approve for mortgaging a haus once you a good credit.keep it for now by dec kn mgshopping to the max at madaming sale.

Congrats!!!! ako din di pa rin dumating visa ko. Sana by Monday or Tuesday. May binabalik din ho ba sila na documents? along with the passport, ano po ba yong isesend ng embassy?

Pero I just got DM today

Congrats... Kinabahan ako nung nabasa ko na DM ka na so I checked my ECAS but sadly inprocess pa rin. Sana ma DM na din ako. But still knowing na may naDM masaya pa rin ako it means their working hard hopefully ung may hawak din ng papers ko. Congrats again tuluy tuloy na yan.Keep on praying...

alvin_1205 dont worry ndi ka ng-iisa worried n nga din aq last june10 pa nareiceve sa cem un papers ng asawa q at passport send last july 08 pa til now wala p din 2 lines pa rin,,d me worried nun pero now madaming DM and to the fact na mas huli pa un iba ng submit im hoping sana tuloy-tuloy ng madaming maDM at sana tayo n sa susunod.
