i agree. In Canada common law is a legal status meaning you have legal right as if you are married. You are legally acknowledged as common law wife and husband. That is the reason why PR and Canadians can sponsor their common law partners. But in your case, your husband is not legally separated nor annulled. In law, he is still married to the other girl. iF vo will approve your case, that is against Philippine Family Law. But then again I am not a lawyer. I am not trying to be negative but getting a lawyer and have your case legally sorted out will be the right thing to do. We all want the easy way out. If we can spare not to spend a dime we would. But in your case i don't think there is any other choice. Will take thousands of dollars ( I think the girl I know spent almost 5K Cdn for annulment) and years but in the end it is all worth it. i think you better ask for legal advice or sa representative nyo kasi very complicated yang sayo lalo pat di pa legally separated ang sponsor mo sa wife nya.. i think isang big deal yun kaya maraming hinihinging requirements!!

He might as well spend his money getting annulment in the Philippines than filing for divorce in Canada. oNCE his marriage was annulled, there is nothing to be divorced anyways.

mga sis..im browsing our papers and found out that our police clearance from overseas is only valid for 3 months lang...june 24, 2011 na issue, nisubmit namin july 15, 2011, then 3 months validity lng so meaning expire na today...may effect kaya yun? ...papakuha pa kaya kmi ng bago?? wat u think mga sis..may effect ba ito..

hindi sis ok na yan ang ibig lang sabihin nyan dapat matanggap ng CEM ang PC mo w/ in 3mos. from the date of issuance... ;D

korayk... ako nga oct 2010 issue date ng overseas pc ko at pass kami application ko april 2011 (meaning more than 3mos na ;D).
we were expecting na request sila ng new one but luckily hindi na nila kami hiningan kaya ambilis ng timeline ko

Have emailed them about questions the Canadian embassy doesn't provide. So ok lang yan. May tanong tayo na dapat i-ask. Kaya nga sabi nila contact us. So having emailed them myself I have convinced myself of the need. But don't expect a reply immediately though.

Finally finally. Got my AoR/PPR na. It's kept at the post office and wasn't delivered though may urgent na nakalagay. Grabe no? August 2 pa tapos Sep 23 nakita? Susme. At walang attached na appendix A ha. E pano ako makasend nun? Email ko nga c Mareng CEM ulit. Sayang man ang mahabang araw na paghihintay, ok na lang kesa mangulubot tayo sa inis.

Hi Sis. Try mo icheck sa post office. Kasi ung sa kin, dun ko rin pinuntahan. sabi ng postman, kinabukasan pa lang nila plan na ideliver.

Hi cesuntal...waiting game na po...you have to wait for DM after submitting PP and appendix A another review po ulit then if VO done the verification process then VISa will issue...Aug. 23 pa po ako may VISA...Happy waiting po and Go bless.
