HI, IM JUST NEW HERE AND JUST READ SOME OF THE POST. I AM JUST A BIT CONFUSED ABOUT THE PROCESSING TIME BECAUSE MY FRIEND ALREADY RECEIVED HER VISA ON APRIL 7 AND WE HAVE ALMOST THE SAME DATE OF SUBMISSION, SHE IS JUST AHEAD OF TWO DAYS.

TIME LINE:
DEC 2: SENT THE APPLICATION
JAN 25: DM
JAN 18: RECEIVED APPLICATION
FEB 28: PASSPORT SENT
MARCH 18: ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS SENT
APRIL&MAY: STILL WAITING............................................................

I JUST WONDER HOW MANY MORE DAYS DO WE HAVE TO WAIT BEFORE THEY'RE GONNA SEND THE VISA AND WILL THERE BE ANY UPDATE ON ECAS BEFORE THEY SEND IT OR WILL THEY SEND IT FIRST BEFORE THE UPDATE COZ UNTIL NOW I DONT SEE ANY CHANGES ON ECAS.

HOPE SOMEONE COULD GIVE ME A BIT OF INFORMATION REGARDING THIS MATTER..

hi kate.....we are in the same situation , magkasabay lang tayo ng pagpasa ng application, my eacs hasn't updated yet application received pa din....feb 28 din ako ngpasa ng Passport .. so its been 2 months nad one week since napasa ko passport ko la pa din update.....dont worry kate dadating din yun...yeah there are some instances na di na naupdate yung ecas bigla na lang dumadating ang visa..sana ganun ang mangyari satin noh..this waiting game is killing us..lol

anyway,bakit di magkasabay ang pagpasa ng pssport mo at additional docs? after na napasa mo Passport mo, nakareceive kapa ng second letter requseting for additionla docs..? ilang days after naipasa mo passport mo then nakareceive ka ng secod letter?

hi, inquire ko lng po about police clearance, pag ba nag-ibang country lng po ba kailangan ng police clearance? pag dito lang po sa philippines ok na po ba ang NBI??? nag-back-read kse ako ang nabasa ko is puro ng-ibang bansa lng ang kumuha ng police clearance, thanks much

yup kuha ka NBI.. ung police clearance sa abroad pra po dun lang sa nag abroad 6 mos stay like me 3 yrs in korea kaya kumuha pa ako ng police clearance sa korean embassy...

thank you mrsh for your response. yes, my aunt is sponsoring me under family class-other relatives. i'm a bit confused kasi about the other requirements if needed ba talaga or hindi na. yung nakalagay lang kasi sa visa office specific instructions na requirements eh yung mga birth cert, police cert, travel docs, proof of relationship in canada, and photos. but when i went to a consultant for a free assessment, sabi nila need daw mag-pass din ng COE, cover letter, etc.

sa mga naka-experience na ma-sponsoran under family class, hope you can share naman if u did pass a cover letter, COE and other docs pa sa embassy when you submitted your application. thanks in advance.

Hi Jovy...Get NBI clearance the green one (for abroad) and the purpose is visa canada...

If the remarks on your NBI clearance is:

NO RECORD ON FILE - it is issued for those who requested for their NBI clearance for the FIRST TIME

NO DEROGATORY RECORD -is issued upon renewal of NBI clearance but means clean record also and should be acceptable.

NO CRIMINAL RECORD - means there is a civil case/record on file

from the Manila Embassy website:

NBI CLEARANCE. Applicants aged 16 years and older must have a valid Record Clearance for Travel Abroad Purposes from the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI). An official letter of explanation from the NBI is required for any notation of "No criminal record", Nopending criminal case" or "With derogatory record." NBI is located along Taft Avenue in Manila. For immigration purposes, an NBI clearance is considered valid only for a year from the date it is issued.

Hi, oo nga e, hindi ko rin kasi masyadong naintindihan akala ko kasi mamimili lang kung san gustong ifile, nway, binasa ko yung guide may tanong lang ulit ako, dun kasi sa "document list" na manggagaling sa pinas e may nakalagay na "proof of medical examination", tapos na sila sa medical e kasabay ko nun and their medical exam results were forwarded to the embassy na, pano makakakuha ng copy nun yung husband ko,, kailangan ba niya pumunta sa ulit sa nationwide (where we had our medical exam) to request for a copy of the results? Thank you, yourreply will be very much appreciated.

kase naman ung tanong mo parang kasama mo ug family dyan kaya sagot namen ni Blestcheche eh pang outland vs inland anyway tama naman sagot ni Blestcheche wag ka na kumuha ng magaayos madali lang naman ayusin eh basta complete lahat makukuha mo magama mo agad..pwede ka din mag request ng kit dyan sa cic free lang un impt basahin ung kit kase andun lahat ng gagawin start to end and sympre bayaran mo na ng full para bawas sa month as in kasama ung landing fee ng mag ama mo

Hi everyone! Nice to be on the same boat as everyone else is. I am also just waiting for my Visa as decision has been made last weekend but...I was just wondering how anyone can tell if the decision is approved or rejected? Last May 1, it just says decision is made but it could still be a no right? I guess, after the long wait, I still do not wanna celebrate because I do not have the visa yet...hehe.
