Thanks for the reply MRS.VIP AND SIMPLYTIN. sorry for the capslock Mrs.vip! i just did it so my message could be visible to you guys. so, you mean they sometimes don't update the ecas? and from the status "we received your application on.." it goes directly to sending the visa without going through the status "in process" and "decision made" hmmm..i hope that would gonna be our case SIMPLY TIN. i dont care anymore if they change the status or not, but i am hoping they could send the visa anytime this may because my husband is supposed to be going home end of this month, he already got his leave from work, just waitng for the visa so he could buy our ticket back home but if the visa won't come until third week of may he will be forced to move his leave and that means more days of waiting!

About your question SIMPLYTIN about the additional requirements. On mid-feb i received two letters from the immigration. the first letter was asking me to fill out appendix A and send my passport. the second letter is asking me to send additional requirement which is an FBI police certificate since i have lived in the united states for 6 months. i have sent out the appendix A and passport the same date i have received it and waited 3 weeks before i was able to send my FBI clearance and that was on march 18. so basically i have completed all the requirements needed on march 18 and just now waiting for the visa.

I just hope we would receive our visa this may..everyday is like a torture already..i miss my husband so much and that's what really makes me break down.. praying every second, hoping and wishing that tomorrow when i wake up a delivery man is already knocking on our door for a visa delivery! good thing i have found this site atleast i have some space to vent out besides shouting and crying alone in the house sometimes and getting crazy. but knowing that its not only me who's having the hard time makes me calm, reminding me that everything is ok and it's just normal..Let us all pray together! that everyone of us could get it the soonest possible time so we could be together with our loved ones! because that's what matters here! keep in touch!

Hi SHELLEYPHER and ARKANGEL!!! I just read your personal message and im trying to send you guys a reply from my inbox but i am not allowed to. maybe because i am not a full member here.. anyway shelleypher as for your question regarding the additional requirement that they have asked me it's the FBI clearance. they didn't ask any additional requirement from my friend and that's the reason why she already got hers! oh i wish i have got mine too! or i mean we wish!!! but hopefully this coming week! just keep on praying..

Arkangel regarding your concern i have the website for it but i can't post a complete link here. just go to wwwdotfbidotgov then click on about us, then click on cjis and then click on criminal background check on the right side. they said that the processing times may take up to six weeks but luckily i just got mine in 3 weeks time. that FBI clearance made a delay in the processing of my visa. so if you have lived in any country for 6 months and more better get it now. i knew then that i will be asked to submit this but i didn't mind. if i just did maybe i already got my visa too, just like my friend who just got hers last month..oh well..what can i do? nothing..but wait! anyway it's inevitable! and there's always a great reward after the wait

Can't wait for monday! for a new set of hopes! haha..we have that 5 days of hope and when friday comes..ugghhhh..two days idle again..and wait for another monday! whewww! who would have thought waiting could be this hard..lol

Hi SIMPLYTIN! yeah right! one more day and it's monday!!! let's wait and see..let's keep each other updated..what i am looking forward to now is seeing my address on ecas be removed coz they said that once it has been removed you will get your visa in after a week..lol..

Did they ask you additional requirements too? we almost have the same date of filing..

Hi aginaya...I'm from the January batch. It took us only 3 mos. and a week for the processing. What I mean is my hubby and I were apart for 5 years we just spent time together for a month when we get married.
