On the 29th kasi they requested 2 updated pictures. Then got an email from cic on Oct. 7 stating that mycic account has been updated and that Decision has been made.

Hi! I just got my Police Clearance and they require me to use my husbands surname. However I am still using my maiden name on my passport because I am working here in Singapore. The renewal of passport is difficult on my part and it will take a while to release the new one here in SG.Would they accept if I am using my maiden name on passport and my husbands surname on my police clearance?

Using maiden name on your passport is fine even if Police Clearance shows your married name. You have your Marriage Certificate naman and better to send also Advisory on Marriages so it will not be asked later on.

Thank you! This is really hard.. I mean with all these gifts and everything. Kasi personally, wala kaming masyadong gifts sa isa't isa na documented, like with pictures and all. Unang-una di ako naging masinop na mangalap ng mga evidences kasi I never really thought na aabot kami sa ganitong point, I meant na pupunta ako sa Canada. Nagchange plan kasi kami ng hubby ko, kaya ito. But thanks for the help. Sobrang good luck talaga sa akin kasi ang complicated ng situation ko. Hehe.

Hi sis, parehas na parehas tayu ng situation. Hindi rin namin na document masyado mga gifts namin sa isat isa kase we never thought na dito kame eend up. Kaya for this part, hindi na namin nilagyan ng bongang evidence. Ang sinulat namin is mga tig 4 na gifts sa isat isa, included na dun yung letters. Bale yung letters nalang isa sa proof namin for this part. Another ay yung couple rings namin dati, which is nasa mga ibang old pictures namin (we labeled it nalang).

However, marame kameng provided na pictures ng mga travels namin. Mas importante kase samin yung memories & efforts kesa sa physical na gifts. But it's still up to you sis. I don't think you need to put the amount of how much you paid for the gifts though.

I'm not sure if this applies to you po but I think a lot of us did the medical upfront. We didn't wait for any requests. Also, we sent them everything for our application. Lahat po ng requirements and fees sabay sabay na po nasend. Bale yung visa nalang ang kulang. Yun din po ata nakastate sa application, na pag esabay na lahat mas mabilis po at mas maavoid ang delays.

based kc sa timeline ng spousal at dependent child 13 at 14 mos,respectively,, sa lahat ng andito. 8-9 mos lng meron na visa,,, nagtaka lng ako kc mabilis,,, yong husband ko kc ofw sa macau ng 9 years,, eksaktong 1 year na niya sa pinas oct 11 2016,, kaya siguro ntgalan apply ko,, sabi din ng HongKong embassy,, no need to submit to any papers dun,, naisubmit ko na din lahat noong una pang pagpasa ko lhat ng req,, naghingi lng sila ulit ng requirements,, salaamt sa mga info,,,

your application is not straight forward just like mine.peeo sa akin po kasi non accompanying dependant ng hubby ko ang na late na mamedical kasi sa issue with ex.pero after aor2 nasend na din namin ung medical ng anak nya nagmedical received last aug1 ata.then bu aug19 nagrequest ng additional proof sa relayoh namin, nasend ng sept3 then yesterday sa mycic naka background check na.hopefully ppr soon..how about ung mycic po nakalink po ba kayo doon?
