Hello everyone. My husband and I check for our application status religiously on the internet. Our application was received last Nov 9, 2015, then forwarded to the Manila Visa Office by the end of December. They started processing my application for permanent residence last Jan. 22, 2016. My medical results were also received at the same time. That was our last update.

I'm so anxious and worried that we are not receiving anything or any update until now. What should we be expecting next after they started processing my application? Is it normal to wait this long for the next step, or should we be worried that nothing's happening? I hope someone can shed a light regarding our situation. Thank you so much.

No need to worry at all. After the sponsorship approval and the ECAS change reflecting that they have started sponsoring your application, there is often no update at all until a decision has been made (unless they ask you for additional documents, which apparently can come any time). DM for you will probably be still a few months away still since at the moment, they seem to be processing May/June 2015 applicants and a handful of July/August. Of course, every application is different, and some might get done a little faster or much slower than others, but generally speaking, this is what you can expect. For now, welcome to the waiting game.

been reading this forum since they requested my passport at VSF global in Makati, iba iba pala yung timeline, yung iba after a week meron ng DM.. question: if my DM na does it mean yun napo yung VISA?

DM means decision made.. it means na approved ka na or rejected.. kung approve na, its either my visa na ung passport mo or llagyan na nila.. bu usually, meron na siguro un.. then after a week or few, marereceive mo na passport mo..

Question lang po ulit. Nagbasa basa kasi ako sa ibang threads and I started to get paranoid sa pagsagot ng forms. Sa IMM5285, hinabaan niyo po ba mga sagot niyo? The hubby and I are done filling this out but I wanted to know if you guys had to use separate sheets for your answers, kasi sa amin kasya lahat. Mas maganda ba sa part na to na habaan o iklian yung sagot? Salamat po sa sasagot.

it should be detailed sa pagsagot ng mga questions.. especially ung sa story nyo at about sa inyong 2.. kung pano kayo nagkakilala and everything.. so eexpect un na my seperate sheet ksi mhaba dpat un.. pero kung kasya nman at andun na lahat ung sagot nyo.. so ok na un.
