Not sure ako kung nag-In Process yung ECAS eh. Pero last chineck ni hubby mga Friday siguro, wala naman change. Tapos Yun nga, kaninang madaling araw (Philippine time), nagulat kami kasi DM na. Weekend pa naman so di namin na-expect na magbabago.

Ah email pala sayo. Baka email din sakin? Ikaw ang basis ko kasi ikaw ang nag-change ng ECAS eh hehe. Btw, anong date ang nakalagay na pinrocess nila ang application mo? Sa akin October 18 eh.

Hay parang mas ok kung ipapapick up na lang nila noh? At least mas certain tayo kung kelan talaga natin mahahawakan ang visa. Pero since it's not for us to decide, sige konting antay pa hehe.

Oo nga mas preferred ko talaga un pick up.. Ang dami kasing possible delays pag idadaan pa sa courier e.. At mejo nag aalala pa ko kasi un unang email nila sakin tinanung nila if i can travel before nov 13, tas nakalagay din "IF you submit a booking certificate, it is taken as an indication of your ability and willingness to travel to Canada within the current validity of your visas as stated above" tapos nagreply ako na yes, makakapagtravel ako at willing ako isubmit yung booking certificate via email or personally kng ipapapick up nila sakin un visa.. D pa kasi ako nakabook non so di pa ko nakapag attach ng booking cert, then the next morning nag email sila stating that my visa will be sent to my address nextweek(this week).. Iniisip ko tuloy baka nag aantay pa nila na isend ko un booking cert bago nila isend un visa.. Nakakaloka.. Haha, e ayaw ko na din naman itry magemail or magsend ng booking cert, sabi kasi ng asawa ko ok na daw un. Hmm..

Hi thrineann and tabbru! just wanted to share what CEM told my wife when they called her. Tinanong lang sya kung makakaalis ba sya before Nov. 14 and she said yes. Hindi na sya hiningian ng booking cert. Also, wala syang natanggap na email from CEM, just the call from them. With regards to ECAS naman, nag IN PROCESS sya then after 1 week, tsaka na nareceive ng wife ko yung tawag from CEM. Right now, DM na sya just like in the case of thrineann.

Just today, kagagaling lang ng wife ko from CEM. Kinuha nya na yung visa at cpr. Just a couple of questions for those who have been in the CEM already.

1) She got the passport w/ visa, cpr, and some passport sized pictures... pinacheck sa kanya yung spelling then di na raw sya binalikan so umalis na sya agad. Is there anything else they needed to give to her? or she was good to leave by that time after nia icheck yung spelling and everything?

2) May nakalagay sa Confirmation of Permanent Residence (CPR) nya na "Not Valid for Travel" What does that mean?

Nakakaloka talaga ang CEM! Napaka-inconsistent! Pero ok na nga siguro yung sayo, baka bukas makalawa eh kakatok na si DHL hehe!

At this point, all we have to do is WAIT again. Pero at least nga medyo malapit na tayo sa finished line.

I am really hoping din na sana mabigyan na ng visa lahat ng Nov 2012 ang medical at wala ng extension. Napaka-unfair naman kasi.

What i meant by this is case to case basis ang paghandle nila maybe sa mga applications. It's good to have this forum to let everyone know how and what to expect pero just use this as a guide but not an exact basis on how they will handle yours.

Yeah, depende nga po sa Visa Officer na naghahandle. How I wish CEM has a consistent system, dapat pare-parehas lang ang ways ng paghandle nila ng case. Kasi nga it appears na depende sa style ng VO eh. At yun ang nagko-cause ng uncertainty for us applicants. Sabagay, wala silang idea how it feels to be in our shoes.

Ay btw, may specific pick-up hours ba na binigay ang CEM sa wife mo? I really wish ipapick-up na lang din sakin talaga yung passport ko.

Alam ko wala naman problema dun sa "not valid to travel" base sa mga nabasa ko dati dto sa forum..

i totally aggree with you as to what causes confusion and uncertainties katulad ni thrineann ngayon na di sure kung kelan ipapakita sa knila ung booking cert...

sinabihan yung wife ko na pumunta dun before 3pm.

Nga pala, i've read on your post na they mentioned something like "If you submit a booking cert..." I guess they wanted you to provide that to them. Just have it ready na lang just in case. Kailangan talaga sure na sure tayo pagdating sa ganito. hehe... yung wife ko pinadalhan ko parin ng booking cert kahit di na hinanapan just in case.

So do you think its best kng iemail ko na sa kanila un booking cert ko? Actually nakabook na ko, ready naman na un booking cert just in case maghanap sila.. kaso nag aalangan ako isend un nang hindi sila nagrerequest.. Hmmm..
