Hahah there's nothing to be scared or sad with that new regulation if the relationship is true.. But its for the safety of canadians and others that if they had been used as an entry to canada .. Since if its temporary or only 3 years term you cant renew it if you left the sponsor or vice versa.. Thats how i see it i might be right or wrong

how I wish that was in force b4,,,a few years ago,,,,,,the americans have a much better system,,,,but I do know my wifes cousin went there on a fiancé visa and left himmm,,,,,she stayed in the country and is still there 2 years later,,,,,she was supposed to of got married in 3 months or would have to leave,,,,,,i know of so many situations like this,,,very gruesome

it looks like their going crazy giving out PPR,,,,to bad they wouldn't do that with the visas,,,,,its going to be a mess in the embassy when the real workers come back,,,,no one will know where to start,,,,soon the waiting time will rise to 16 months

No no no Tagum please don't jinx it! But seriously, what you're saying is true. They keep on sending out PPR's like nobody's business. I bet they have a whole mountain of unopened packages with our passports in the mail room... I hope they fix this soon.

Just want to share with you all, My husband just Received PPR

Here's our timeline:

VO: Manila
Application sent: March 6, 2013
SA approval: April 4, 2013
Medical done: February 26, 2013
File received CIC Manila: April 16,2013 base on the letter from PPR
Passport Request: August 23, 2013


I'm hoping and praying for more visa to be release and more PPR.

yung sa case namin nag expire yung NBI ko january 2013 pero hindi naman sila humingi ng bagong NBI :]

Hi guys! My husband just call few minutes ago. They recieved their visa already! It was stamped august 19. As for everybodys info, i went to my mp to request them to make an inquiry in cem regarding my dependants status. I went august 12, they recieved a feedback from cem august 14, visa was stamped august 19 and my dependants recieved the package today, august 23. My dependants sent their passport july 8. God bless everyone!

Im not sure if its a good idea to try booking flights now.. With the movements in cem .. It was either 0 or 1 visa a week . And sept 17 is 4 weeks from now.. Anyway cant you extend your stay there?? Because if you went back and left your daughter there then visa was sent the next week you'd be flying back again to accompany your kid since i dont think she'd be allowed to travel alone

How i wish i could extend for even just a month but my time out of canada is almost up... Landed in canada sept 25, 2010... Got pregnant while vacationing here sa pinas and had a high risk pregnancy and since we waited for this pregnancy for 8 yrs we just could not take the chance. Long story short i have been here since and my 3 yrs out is almost up or they might not renew my pr. My husband would have to come home to get her when her visa comes... But still hoping for a miracle... This is so hard for as a mom.

congratulations,,,we can all keep up hope for a soon passport,,,,the only one this week, but at least we know its possible,,,hopefully mine will be the one next week

Hi.. Did you went to your MP's personally? Do you think it would be ok if my husband would just call our MP to follow up? Or is it really advisable to go to MP personnally? I sent my passport to CEM last july 8 also..
