Media advisory - Foreign Service Officers announce withdrawal of services in targeted locations, as well as a date for return to negotiations with Treasury Board
OTTAWA, May 27, 2013 /CNW/ -

Who: Professional Association of Foreign Service Officers (PAFSO), Canada's union for non-executive diplomats.

What: PAFSO is announcing the withdrawal of services at several posts in key international locations and at Headquarters in Ottawa, as well as a date for resumption of negotiations with the Treasury Board Secretariat.

International Economic Relations & Summits Division (HQ)
North America Policy & Relations Division (HQ)
Hemispheric Affairs Division (HQ)

When:
Service withdrawals initiated May 21, 23, 24, 26, and 27 depending on location
Negotiations scheduled to resume on June 3, 2013

Why: PAFSO is in a legal strike position and is undertaking targeted service withdrawals in order to obtain equal pay for equal work. The union's members are paid $3,000 to $14,000 less than other federal government professionals in comparable occupational groups.

Guys, share ko din ecas update ko nag changed na yung mailing address ko. from phil to calgary na. Hopefully ma DM na ako at visa na ang kasunod.

hello! just wanna ask po...pag nag-change na ba yung address sa ecas from phil to canada add...that means, DM na ang kasunod? pag PPR na ba hindi pa assurance yun na VISA agad ang kasunod? just a bot confused...thanks & congratulations!

Hello po ask ko lang po,kakapass lang po ng hubby ko ang application namen via fedex,and nakalagay sa tracking number na na delivered na sa Mississauga,now ang ask ko lang po kung may marereciv ba ang hubby ko na letter na on process na ba ang application?if so ilang days po kaya?

meron po..sakin kz june 06 2013 ipinasa sa Mississauga then july nkarecieve c hubby ng letter sa email nia nkalagay dun narecieve n nila at my binigay n clang uci number..para macheck sa ecas

Malamang po na pag nag changed na yung address mo visa na ang kasunod. Tungkol po sa question nyo about sa PPR, may nabasa po ako na hindi assurance po ang ppr para maka kuha ng visa. Even ang DM po ay hindi din assurance na makaka kuha ka ng visa, what i mean po kasi according sa nabasa ko dalawa ang ibig sabihin ng DM. decision made for visa at decision made for refusal.
