Hi everyone,
Good Day!!!
Newbie lang po ako dito sa forum, but I used to read this forum for a month na.. and very helpful talaga tong forum na toh.. madami ako nalaman..
Just wanted to share my experience lang po. Me and my husband, 7 yrs na kaming long distance relationship since he migrated in canada. And twice palang siya nakauwi here in phil kasi nga nd makauwi dadhil sa work. And its really really hard na magkalayo sa isat isa. Unang uwi nya after 4yrs nya magstay sa canada, nagpakasal nakami ^_^ but its just 2 1/2 wks lng ang stay thats why hindi ko gaano naramdaman ang stay nya dito sa pinas dahil sa pagasikaso ng civil wedding namin at ng mga papers nmn for sponsorship. Then second is, last year lang nung march at un tlga ang masasabi kung vacation nya kasi we spend time together talaga even though 3 wks lng ang stay nya.
Nagstart ako mag proces ng papers ko year 2011, 1 year after ng wedding nmn. Since then, aligaga nako kakaisip kung kelan kaya ako makakasunod sa kanya. After 2 years since we've filed sponsorship, nagkaron ngfeedback na finally from immigration about our papers, But its just a kiliti lang na news hehehe kc on my timeline say's
"We received your application for permanent residence on May 17, 2012." . Pero kahit un lng ang news sakin sobrang natuwa na tlga kami kc after ilang years nagkaroon ng feedback, which means napprocess na pala papers ko. Since then, lagi nako ng checheck ng status ko sa CIC if theirs any changes. And after ilang months, everymonth nako nagkaroon ng feedback from immigration via email. Here's my timeline.
FROM CIC:
We received your application for permanent residence on May 17, 2012.
We started processing your application on January 21, 2013.
Medical results have been received.
A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.
May 17, 2012- Application Received
December 1, 2012- Passport Request and other forms
December 17, 2012- Passport and forms submitted
January 17, 2013- NBI updated request
January 18, 2013- Medical request
February 6, 2013- NBI Submitted
April 17, 2013- Medical done
April 29, 2013- Medical forwarded to embassy
May 4, 2013- Medical results have been received (ECAS)-newly registered
May 5, 2013- Decision made(ECAS)
May 2, 2013- VISA stamped
May 10, 2013- Passport with VISA and COPR received via DHL
As you can see sa timeline ko, laki din ng gap ng medical ko. I need to accomplish may medical ASAp/ with timeframe kaya Im lucky padin. Then after that, I've found this forum and started to read ung mga thread and ang dami kung nalaman dito. And thats the time palang na nagstart ako mag registered sa ECAS. And thankfully, sa pagregister ko sa ECAS ngkaroon din ng update sa CIC Timeline ko.
And now, Im super happy na kasi yesterday I received txt form someone and it says na kung san daw banda bahay namin and his from DHL to give my mail from canadian embassy. When i saw his txt na may canadian embassy, OH MY GOD na tlga ako sa TUWA at nginig sa excitement. Then after ilng minutes, aun dumating na si kuya just to received my mail from embassy. And Finally, after 7years of long distance relationship makakasama ko na ang husband ko coz i have my VISA na already... Kaya gora gora na agad ako ASAP. ;D. Super tuwa namin ng husband ko nung nakuha kna xa at naiyak ako sa tuwa.
GOD IS GOOD talaga, ALL THE TIME!!!
With my experience, just wanted to say lang po sa mga nag-aantay papo is unting tiis lang po and God will give it to you on a right time.
PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE, yan ang motto ko since we had a long distance relationship.
Just keep on praying and have faith on GOD.
Goodluck po sa lahat ng nag aantay papo ng result... And may GOD BLESS us all...
>>>BTW, ask ko lang din po. Do i need to attend all the seminars or just PDOS lang po? Thank you...
