I am new with all these.. but I find everything helpful but overwhelming at the same time.

Does anyone know what month they are working on?

i passed my husband's application on Feb 25 and March 25 they sent me the approval.

Hi sis. Yes they are working on Sponsor Appoval dates between Sept 2012 - Jan 2013. Someone with a Jan 2013 Sponsor approval got her passport request recently.

Sa mga naghahanap po ng cheap tickets, nakabili ako online Cheapoair.com. $1179 PAL w/ insurance na un cost $58. MNL to YVR to YWG May 13. Nagpatanong kasi ako sa mga agency sa Manila, mas mahal eh.

Ganun ba. Kala ko nag o-overtime sila kasi last sat & sun a lot of people received remeds, ppr & ecas update. Na update nga ecas ko sunday noon about MR.

Hi guys! Meron po ba hiningan dto ng passport, picture and booking cert ng CEM through email na nakalagay MUST submit via courier? Ready for issuance na ng visa kasi nakalagay sa email. Kaya same day nung April 18 pinaLBC agad namin to CEM lahat ng nirequest nila. May 13 kinuha namin na flight. Knakabahan lang kasi ako baka hnd magkasya ung 25 days sa pagbalik ng passport with visa and PDOS.

Btw, first thing you need to learn in applying job in Canada is how to make a resume. It is a lot more different than in PH. Here, you don't need your picture height weight etc. you only need 1 maximum 2 pages to highlight your education and experience.

hi po, puede pasali..Baguhan din ako sa Canada. Nandito din ako sa Vancouver. Malapit lang ako sa Burnaby at sa Skytrain. Pumunta ako ng job fair, parang I feel ang hirap makakuha ng jobs doon. Ang daming puti ang nag-aaply. Marami ding Chinese at Filipino. May experience din ako sa sales, cashiering at saka customer service pero sa job fair, di nga lang naman nila kunin yung resume' mo. Tsaka, parang you only have 1 minute to talk with the interviewer dahil daming nakapila...

Hi sis. I am the sponsor. Yung wife ko nasa Cebu, she's the applicant (being sponsored). Yeah it's very tough waiting sis for both parties. Mahirap sa naghihintay sa pinas at mahirap din sa nag hihintay abroad. Stay strong, stay busy and pray. Good luck sa inyo.

Hi sis! I submitted my application Feb 4 and got approval March 4
Almost same timeline tayo Kung hindi bibilis ang CEM maybe mga Aug or Sept and PPR natin.
Kelan expiry ng medical mo?

Hi guys! I'am new here.. hope u can help me with my questions regarding sa spousal sponsorship. Landed immigrant po ako and wanted to sponsor my husband back home,we just get married last FEB. And now we're gathering all the requirements needed. so here are my questions:
1.Do my husband need to go for medical examination prior to sending our application or the immigration will request for that later on?..and where can I get a copy of Medical Report - Client Biodata and Summary (IMM 1017)?
2.My name back home is Ma.Vanessa as stated in my birth certificate,passport,marriage certificate etc. but when I came here in Canada they change it automatically from "MA." to "MARIA" as shown in my visa,PR,OHIP,SIN etc.. So I'm confused if do I need to follow my name on my passport or PR card when filling out my applications?
3.Is it ok if we just print and fill out the application forms by hand?.. Or we need to fill it out using adobe?
Sorry guys if I have too much questions, I'am so confused. coz when my mom sponsored us before it is really in a different way. I'm hoping for ur response guys.. Thank you so much!

Yes sis, kasama na sa initial application ang medical results. Make sure na magpamedical ang husband mo kapag kumpleto na lahat ng requirements nio kasi 1 year lang ang validity ng medical. Yung IMM 1017, ibibigay ng doctor sa husband mo iyan when he finished his medical examination, yan ang isasama nio sa sponsorship app nio

I would say follow yung sa PR Card kasi ayun ang identification mo given in Canada. Yung passport ng mga PR is not really needed sa application, but PR card is. If you can make a note about your name it might be better.

It is NOT mandatory to do it on the computer but I highly advise that you do kasi mas less ang errors and it will be easier for them to read. Esp yung mga forms that will create barcode, it will be easier for CIC to scan the information.

I think he needs to bring immigration size photos. The photo specification is on the Philippines specific document checklist.
